Cancellation policy:
For full refund of cruise fare, notice of cancellation must be sent in writing to Antilia Travel, to be received by Star Clippers no later than one-hundred twenty (120) days prior to sailing.
If a cancellation occurs after that date, the following charges will be assessed:
119-90 days days prior to departure = $400 per person
89-60 days prior to departure = 50% of cruise fare
59-30 days prior to departure = 75% of cruise fare
29 days or less prior to departure = No refund

No refund will be given for the $25 per person booking administration fee charged by Antilia Travel.
PLEASE NOTE: Star Clippers can take up to 45-60 days to issue your refund if you cancel, although they often issue the refund sooner. There is no action I can take on your behalf to speed up this process as I am not a direct employee of Star Clippers. Any questions about this policy should be directed to Star Clippers.
Good to Know:
- We do not have access to live inventory and this sailing is open to be sold to the public. We do our best to update availability as often as possible but cabins and categories can sell out without our knowledge. In the event your preferred cabin category is no longer available, you will be contacted to make a new selection prior to us submitting your deposit.
- Children are welcome on Star Clippers cruises, however, there is no structured program providing supervision or activities for young children. Children pay the same rate as adults.
- Internet & Wi-Fi is available onboard wherever technically possible. Wi-Fi access is available in certain areas of the ship and available on computers in the library. Internet and Wi-Fi access can be purchased via cards sold in the Sloop Shop.
- Cabins are equipped with a private bathroom, air-conditioning, TV, hairdryer and private safe.
- Star Flyer provides passengers with 110-volt (American current).
- Star Flyer does not have elevators or ramps and access to land is often via small tender boats. Passengers must be in good physical condition and able to ambulate on their own
- Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages onboard the ship. Any alcohol purchased in ports of call will be retained and returned at the end of the voyage.
- The atmosphere on the ship is relaxed and casual. During the daytime, shorts, bathing attire with cover-ups, light pants, and hats are recommended. In the evening t-shirts and shorts are not to be worn for dinner. Gentlemen should wear shirts with collars and sleeves; jackets are optional. Sun dresses, skirts or slacks for women are recommended.
- Approximately 6 hours of Continuing Education will take place in Rome before embarking on the cruise. Plan to arrive in Rome at least 1-2 days ahead of the cruise departure date. More details will follow as we get closer to departure date.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
- If you are traveling with friends or other members of your family, it is important that they book within our group (even if they are not ODs). If they do not, they are not eligible for our group amenities, will be excluded from our onboard group activities, and I will not be able to assist them with other plans such as transportation or tours. Only one person in your group needs to be an OD.
Booking Process:
Before completing this process, you must have already registered with CE in Italy & Europe for the continuing education meeting with Dr. Fanelli. Any requests for cabins received without verification of registration with CE in Italy & Europe will not be processed.
- Click the "Book Now" button next to your preferred cabin category.
- Select the number of travelers.
- If you need to add a 3rd passenger, scroll down to the "Extra Options" section and select this option. There is a place on the registration form to submit the name and date of birth for the third passenger.
- The form will automatically calculate the deposit due based on number of travelers and cabin category.
- If you are a past guest of Star Clippers, check the option under "Extra Options" for the past guest discount. This will NOT be automatically calculated, as it must first be verified and then calculated based on the cabin category selected. Upon verification, your invoice will be adjusted to include the discount.
- Click "Continue to Traveler Info" to complete the Client Profile form for each traveler.
- Complete the secure credit card authorization form for the deposit amount.
- Submit your registration.
- Once received, your registration will be processed with Star Clippers during normal business hours and a confirmation and additional details will be emailed to you.
- All correspondence, payments, cancellations and questions should be directed to this agency, Antilia Travel, and not directed to Star Clippers.
