Carnival Pride: Greenland and Newfoundland, Canada

Aug 18, 2024 to Sep 1, 2024
Greenland and New Foundland, Canada
Set sail from the Charm City’s historic harbor on Carnival cruises from Baltimore, Maryland. Many of Baltimore’s vibrant neighborhoods and most important sights — including the original Star-Spangled Banner waving over Fort McHenry — can be found near the lively seaport, making it a snap to get a taste of the city. A collection of museums, markets, and maritime activities — like a thriving centuries-old marketplace — will start your Carnival cruise from Baltimore in style.

The Carnival Pride charms, just like its departure city — it's a treat for your eyes, your taste buds... and of course, your fun buds. Invite them all to come enjoy the vacation that this ship is proud to offer.

Carnival Pride invites you to dine refined, from the zen-like simplicity of Bonsai Sushi to the art deco ocean liner inspiration of the Normandie Restaurant, to the American-Traditional style of Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. And of course, there's real, delectable substance under all that style. But for something a little more casual, loosen your tie... or maybe just throw it away and grab a main course (and fries) from our main man Guy Fieri, at Guy's Burger Joint. The Mexican heat's optional at BlueIguana Cantina, but make your next stop Cherry on Top — our candy-and-more store — where everything's sweet.

You'll find yourself with room to move at the Beauties Dance Club, and a hard time sitting still at Playlist Productions. All around this cruise ship, you'll discover even more ways to stay cool, like an adult-only pool at Serenity, a fun-only midship pool featuring a retractable roof, plus Carnival Pride's splashy onboard waterpark, Carnival WaterWorks. And if all the waterslide action leaves you needing a little extra unwinding, we recommend you dry off and head to the Cloud 9 Spa.

Ports of Call:

Explore at your own pace when we arrive in the town of Nanortalik, Greenland. View icebergs and wildlife such as seals, birds, and whales.  Guests may also grab a bathing suit and towel for a dip in the local hot springs while they enjoy the beautiful view of icebergs thrifting by in the fiord of Uunartoq.

During our stop in QAQORTOQ, GREENLAND this tour will tantalize your taste buds and get you acquainted with the local food, Inuit habits, and traditions!
Start your tour with a walk from the pier to the small and beautiful restaurant at the town square. You will enjoy a tasting menu of local specialties like reindeer, musk ox, dried fish, whale, seal and shellfish, and shrimp – all depending on availability on the day. Complement your local fare tasting with a sampling of the local beer from the nearby microbrewery in the small city of Narsaq.

While in St. Anthony, New Foundland dine with Vikings in St . Anthony Great Viking Dinner Theatre: Step back in time to A.D. 1,000 when the Vikings roamed Canada and joined a merry band of Vikings and dined with them at the Great Viking Feast Dinner Theatre. They will provide a humorous look at old Norse life while they hold an allthing – a Viking Court of Law.

Get a taste of The Cabot Trail, as you travel a small portion of the Atlantic Shore, from the port of Sydney, Nova Scotia to Indian Brook. This tour reveals vistas that inspired Alexander Graham Bell to observe, “I have traveled around the globe. I have seen the Canadian and American Rockies, the Andes and the Alps, and the Highlands of Scotland but for simple beauty, Cape Breton outrivals them all.

Enjoy the flavors of Corner Brook, New Foundland with this "Food, Frolic and Fish" tour. Join your local tour guide on a 45-minute scenic journey to the north coast of the Bay of Islands. Be entertained along the way with tales of folklore. On the trip, you will see "the Galapagos of plate tectonics,” which is two of the four protrusions of the earth's mantle.

Cruisers will visit a fish-processing plant to discuss fish harvesting and the infamous 1992 cod moratorium. Then take a stroll along the waterfront for photos and a look at the colorful fishing dories.

Guests will sample unique culinary delicacies and enjoy a performance of square dance. Stroll the community and meet the locals at your own pace.-

Upon your return to Baltimore, spend some extra time in Charm City stroll among the buzzing shops and maritime sites of the Inner Harbor. Cheering for the hometown Baltimore Orioles during the summer baseball season or snack on sweet treats at an old-world cafe in Little Italy.
