STEPS FOR PLANNING YOUR TRIP

This guide outlines the steps for planning your trip with the help of your Travel Advisor. Here's a simplified path to ensure smooth travel planning:

1.  Travel Inquiry & Onboarding 

   - Decide on a destination and budget.

   - Google " typical costs to xDESTINATIONx for X days" to set a realistic budget.

   - Choose a vacation inquiry package below based on your requirements or number of travelers.

   - Fill out the travel inquiry form detailing your preferences and budget.

   - Pay a one-time planning fee to create your trip profile.

   - Note: If you want flight pricing, be ready to deposit as prices can change rapidly.

2.  Research & Proposals 

   - Receive a proposal with destination info and resort options matching your budget.

   - Request alterations, ask questions, or approve the proposal. Prices are subject to change, so act quickly.

3.  Invoice 

   - Once you approve the itinerary, pay your invoice within 24 hours.

   - A $10 fee applies for expired invoices reissued, along with any vacation price changes.

4.  Confirmations & Itinerary 

   - Get a reservation number within 24 hours of paying your deposit / booking your reservation.

   - After full payment, receive your detailed itinerary, which includes:

     - Resort, transportation, and excursion details

     - Live flight tracking

     - Weather and general destination information

5.  Pack & Go 

   - You will receive your final itinerary 48 hours before departure.

 Payment Options 

- Pay in full (if traveling within 60 days).

- Flexible payments with deposit and balance due by the invoice date.

- Pay at property (hotel only, reserved with a credit card where applicable).

- Apply for financing with options similar to Afterpay

-  Why use a Travel Agent? 

•  Travel Agents manage all travel details and anticipate potential problems, acting as advocates if issues arise. They support small businesses and might offer better deals than online bookings due to partnerships with suppliers.

-  Trip Cost? 

•    Varies based on timing, accommodations, flights, and activities—research prices online for an estimate.

-  What is included in a vacation? 

•   Typically a vacation includes flights, accommodations, transportation, and excursions, or any combination thereof.

-  Need only a flight? 

•   Prefer booking comprehensive packages due to fluctuating flight prices and availability.

-  Do you book Airbnb? 

•   No, due to security and refund policy concerns.

-  What is Travel Protection? 

•   Offers cancellation for any reason with a rebate as a travel credit minus the cost of the protection. Includes emergency assistance and baggage protection. Two options:

1.    Travel Credit: Refund via future  travel credit usable within 12 months.
2.    Cash Refund: Refund to the original payment method.
