When you book a cabin on a Carnival Cruise, your fare includes a comprehensive range of amenities and services designed to provide a comfortable and entertaining vacation experience. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s included:

📅 Standard Cancellation Penalties

For most bookings, the following penalties apply when canceling a cruise: 

Prior to Final Payment Date: No penalty, unless you’ve booked a promotion with a non-refundable deposit or cruise price. 

From Final Payment Date to 56 Days Before Sailing: Penalty is the standard deposit amount.

55 to 30 Days Before Sailing: Penalty is 50% of the total fare or the standard deposit amount, whichever is greater.

29 to 15 Days Before Sailing: Penalty is 75% of the total fare or the standard deposit amount, whichever is greater.

14 Days or Less Before Sailing: Penalty is 100% of the total fare.

🔒 Non-Refundable Promotions (e.g., Early Saver)

Certain promotional fares, like the Early Saver, have specific terms:  

Early Saver Bookings: Deposits are non-refundable at any time after booking. If canceled before the final payment date, you’ll receive a non-refundable and non-transferable future cruise credit equal to the deposit minus a $50 per person service fee. 

Purchasing Carnival’s Vacation Protection can offer added flexibility:

 Trip Cancellation: If you need to cancel for common reasons (e.g., illness, severe weather), you’ll receive 100% of the trip cost back in cash.

Cancel for Any Reason: If you cancel for reasons not covered, you’ll receive 75% of the trip cost back as a future cruise credit.

Additional benefits include coverage for baggage loss, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and 24/7 worldwide travel assistance.
