📆 Itinerary Overview

Day 1 – Amsterdam, Netherlands: Embark the AmaViola and settle into your stateroom. Evening welcome dinner and canal views.
Day 2 – Amsterdam → Utrecht: Morning canal cruise; afternoon beer tasting or family scavenger hunt. Hot Chocolate & Pajamas Night onboard.
Day 3 – DĂŒsseldorf, Germany: Explore DĂŒsseldorf or take a short trip to Cologne. Family Cookie Exchange onboard.
Day 4 – Rhine Gorge → RĂŒdesheim: Scenic sailing through the Rhine Gorge; choose from wine tasting, gondola ride, or vineyard hike. Kids’ ornament crafting activity.
Day 5 – Ludwigshafen, Germany: Visit Heidelberg, Speyer, or Ladenburg; evening Ornament Exchange Social.
Day 6 – Strasbourg, France: Explore La Petite France and France’s oldest Christmas Market. Cocoa & Carols Night onboard.
Day 7 – Breisach, Germany: Visit Colmar or Freiburg before our festive Family Farewell Dinner onboard.
Day 8 – Basel, Switzerland: Disembark and transfer to airport for return flights.

❄ Cancellation Policy

Your reservation is fully refundable within 7 days of deposit.
After that, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • 120–91 days before departure: Loss of deposit

  • 90–61 days before departure: 50% of total fare

  • 60–31 days before departure: 75% of total fare

  • 30 days or less before departure: 100% of total fare (non-refundable)

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Lumina Travel. Refunds are processed within 14 business days of confirmed cancellation.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unexpected events.
