Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Cancellation fees will apply based on the date the written cancellation is received (please allow 24 hours for vendor contact), and will be calculated as a percentage of the total amount received, excluding Travel Protection, previously assessed fees, and ticketed airfare. The cancellation fees will not be less than the initial non-refundable deposit, and the travel protection plan premium is non-refundable after a 10-day review period.

The tour begins with a visit to the peaceful Meiji Jingu Shrine, nestled in a lush forest and dedicated to the former Emperor and his Empress. Next, explore the grand Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji), home to a golden statue of Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy. The entrance features a massive paper lantern painted in bold red and black. Stroll through Nakamise, a historic shopping street offering a variety of goods, including traditional Edo-style crafts and souvenirs. Then, head to the Imperial Palace, the residence of the Japanese Imperial family, surrounded by serene gardens in the heart of Tokyo. Visit the outer areas and admire the iconic Nijubashi bridge, which leads to the main entrance of the palace.

Today, take a journey to the historic city of Kamakura, once the capital of Japan, founded in 1192 by the Minamoto clan. Your tour begins with a visit to Hokokuji Temple, nestled in the hills of eastern Kamakura, famous for its serene bamboo grove behind the main hall. A short walk leads to Jomyoji Temple, the fifth of Kamakura's five great Zen temples. Next, visit Kotoku-in Temple, home to the iconic 43-foot Great Buddha bronze statue, one of Japan’s most recognized landmarks, with a history dating back to 1292. After the temple visits, enjoy some free time to explore Kamakura before returning to Tokyo.
