This Tour's Itinerary
Day 1
Depart your group's location in a spacious, video and restroom equipped Motorcoach as you head for your destination: spectacular Colorado! This evening, you will check into an en route hotel.
Day 2
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before continuing towards your destination. Later, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and check into your Colorado Springs area hotel for four nights.
Day 3
Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before heading for a visit to HISTORIC MANITOU SPRINGS located at the foot of famous PIKES PEAK, a town rich in history and surrounded by beautiful Rocky Mountain scenery. While there, taste the spring waters that made Manitou famous and enjoy lunch on your own. Then you will depart for guided tour of GARDEN OF THE GODS, the magnificent park of red sandstone formations, a spiritual retreat of ancient peoples. This, evening, enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4
After a Continental Breakfast, depart with your guide for a guided tour of Colorado Springs. You will enjoy a visit to the U.S. OLYMPIC & PARALYMPIC MUSEUM. Journey through the 60,000 square foot interactive museum that is dedicated to these exceptional competitors. Experience their compelling stories, with the artifacts, media and technology behind the athletes who make the United States proud. Then, you'll depart with your guide to the impressive UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY. You will see the Academy displays and a movie. Tonight, enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5
After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for COLORADO'S "NATURAL WONDER" - the ROYAL GORGE. At the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, you will have an opportunity to view the breathtaking Gorge, cross the suspension bridge and ride the AERIAL TRAM. You will also have an opportunity to visit the Visitor Center or step back in time and explore the story of the Royal Gorge at the PLAZA THEATER. Tonight, you will enjoy Dinner with Entertainment.
Day 6
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Prairie Museum of Art and History in Colby, Kansas. This evening, relax at your en route hotel.
Day 7
Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home… a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the great sights you've seen, and where your next group trip will take you!

Garden of the Gods

Delight in the sky-high red rocks of sandstone, clear blue skies, and the scenic surroundings of Colorado’s Pikes Peak Region at the Garden of the Gods, part of our Colorado bus tour. Located in Colorado Springs, the Garden of the Gods is a registered national landmark and the leading visitor and nature center of the region. Established in 1994 by the Garden of the Gods Foundation, the institution preserves, protects, and maintains the natural wonder to this day. Learn about the natural history of the park in the Visitor and Nature Center, or head outdoors for a look at the wondrous geological formations during your time at one of America’s Greatest Public Spaces. 

 


Don’t forget your camera. From the red peaks to the surrounding terrain. There will be photo opportunities you won’t want to miss out on. Ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.  The Garden of the Gods Visitor Center and some of the surrounding trails are wheelchair accessible. If you or someone in your party is handicapped, let your reservations agent know ahead of time, so that the museum can be sure to accommodate your group in the most convenient and comfortable setting.

 
 
United States Air Force Academy

Take in the scenic surroundings as you head toward the United States Air Force Academy during a Colorado bus tour. Stretching 18,000 acres and with the Rocky Mountains as its backdrop, the Air Force Academy boasts state-of-the-art facilities including the Barry Goldwater Visitor Center, and many other remarkable buildings visited by thousands of tourists each year.

 
 

Courtesy wheelchairs are available to guests in the Visitor Center which is handicapped accessible throughout. If you’d like to explore the buildings throughout your time at the Academy, the United States Air Force Academy suggests you bring your own wheelchair as courtesy wheelchairs are not permitted outside the Visitor Center.  Take your camera. From extraordinary structures to the surrounding nature, there will be many photo opportunities during your time at the United States Air Force Academy.  

 
Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

See the world’s highest suspension bridge and the surrounding 360 acres at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, part of our Colorado Bus Tour. Whether you’re interested in history, the sights, or looking for an adventure, you can find it at Royal Gorge & Park.

You must let your reservations agent know ahead of time if you or someone in your party is handicapped so that they can make sure to accommodate you in the most convenient and comfortable setting. Ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. You will be doing a lot of walking and spending much of your time outdoors during your visit to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Don’t forget your camera! From the panoramic views of the surrounding area to the natural wonders at the Gorge, there will be moments you want to capture during your time in the park.

 Aerial Tram Ride at Royal Gorge

See the world’s highest suspension bridge and the surrounding 360 acres at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, part of Diamond Tours Colorado Bus Tour. The Gorge began to form over three million years ago when trickles of water slowly began to carve a canyon out of the solid granite bedrock.   Prairie Museum of Art and History

Explore life on the High Plains of Kansas at the Prairie Museum of Art and History as part of this group motorcoach vacation package.
