Booking Eligibility Notice
This hosted group experience is open to U.S. citizens and U.S. residents only. At this time, we are unable to accept bookings for travelers residing outside the United States, including Canada and other international locations.
All payments, contracts, and travel services for this journey must be processed through U.S.-based systems in US Dollars.

Important Notes:
- This journey is limited to a maximum of 18 participants.
- Passport required (must be valid for 6 months after return)
- EES will be completed upon arrival (EES (Entry/Exit System) is a new EU border system that digitally records when non-EU travelers enter and leave the Schengen Area, replacing passport stamps. Nothing to do prior to arrival. If you already completed this step, you will just proceed to immigration upon arrival.
- ETIAS pre-travel authorization required. April will help you with this closer to the travel date once this program officially launches late Q26.
- Travel protection/insurance is strongly encouraged—we’ll help guide you through your options (see more information below)
Mobility & Activity Level
This journey requires a moderate level of activity.
Historic areas throughout Spain and Portugal often include cobblestone streets, uneven surfaces, steps, and occasional uphill walks to reach entrances or scenic viewpoints. Daily touring may involve extended walking and standing.
Some hotels and venues may have elevators, but availability and functionality cannot be guaranteed. Certain historic buildings may not offer elevator access at all.
Each traveler is responsible for ensuring she can comfortably participate in the itinerary as designed. If you have specific mobility concerns, we encourage you to contact us before booking to discuss whether this journey is the right fit.
Deposit & Final Payment:
- To fully secure your place on this journey, a deposit of $500 per person will be required.
- Final payment is due June 30, 2026.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the supplier’s cancellation terms, we strongly encourage you to have travel insurance in place. Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Please note that any changes to your departure date or traveler name will be treated as a cancellation and applicable penalties will apply. In addition, cancellation fees from third parties such as airlines, etc may also apply.
Cancellation charges per person are as follows:
• 90 days or more prior to departure: Loss of tour deposit
• 89–60 days prior to departure: 35% of total tour price
• 59–30 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour price
• Less than 30 days prior to departure: 100% of total tour price
Travel Insurance Plan
We highly recommend adding travel protection to help safeguard your investment in this journey and provide added peace of mind throughout your travels.
This policy is offered through Travel Insured International, the tour operator’s recommended travel insurance provider. You are also welcome to explore other coverage options independently or work with April to review additional options through one of our preferred providers.
Premiums are based on traveler age. To be eligible for coverage of pre-existing medical conditions, the policy must be purchased within 14 days of your initial tour deposit. Coverage may otherwise be added at any time up until final payment.
