Cancellation must occur during AmaWaterways' standard business hours. To ensure ample time to cancel with the supplier, all cancellations must be sent in writing to Kari@NexTripVacations.com at least 48 hours prior to the deadline listed below. Failure to do so may result in an increase in penalty.

**Airline cancellation charges imposed upon receipt of full payment of either airfare and/ or river cruise relating to AmaWaterways air promotions, and if airline tickets have been issued. Certain international airline tickets, including published air tickets, may be 100% non-refundable, and details will be advised when booking. All intra-Europe, intra-Asia, intra-Africa, and intra-Egypt flights, as well as Amman-Cairo and Cairo-Tel Aviv flights, are non-refundable at the time of purchase.
All guests traveling with AmaWaterways remain responsible for ensuring they meet the travel entry requirements for each country they plan to visit before, during or after their river cruise. These requirements, as mandated by airlines and individual countries or regions, may change without notice and cancellation fees will apply should guests no longer meet the country entry requirements for their cruise or land program.

AmaWaterways 2025 Travel Waiver Plus provides cancellation for any reason, up to 31 days prior to the start of your AmaWaterways purchased services (cruise, pre/post-cruise land packages, air etc.). It is applicable to European and Mekong river cruises sailing from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Travel Waiver Plus can only be added at time of deposit and requires the purchase of the AmaWaterways Cruise Protection Plan.
Should you decide to cancel your 2025 river cruise for any reason, you will have the following options based on date of cancellation:

Cancellation received up to 31 days prior to the start of AmaWaterways services:
Future Cruise Credit** covering cancellation penalties, and the balance will be a monetary refund calculated based on our standard cancellation policy for services purchased through AmaWaterways. -
Cancellation received less than 31 days prior to start of AmaWaterways services:
A Future Cruise Credit will not be given and the penalties for the entire booking will be lost and not replaced.

TRAVEL WAIVER PLUS TERMS & CONDITIONS:
AmaWaterways’ Travel Waiver Plus 2025 is only applicable to FIT and Group bookings; can only be added at time of deposit and requires the purchase of the AmaWaterways Cruise Protection Plan. Travel Waiver Plus cannot be purchased by residents of Quebec, Canada. After deposit, Travel Waiver Plus can no longer be added. This offer is only applicable to reservations sailing from January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. Travel Waiver Plus is not applicable to any Africa Safaris & Wildlife Cruises or Secrets of Egypt & the Nile. Travel Waiver Plus allows guests to cancel 31 days (or more) prior to the start of their AmaWaterways purchased services and covers cancellation penalties in the form of a Future Cruise Credit** for services purchased through AmaWaterways. Travel Waiver Plus does not cover custom services or Cruise Protection Plan premium. Travel Waiver Plus does not include any additional benefits; additional insurance coverage is recommended.
