Day 1: August 1, 2023 - Welcome To Amsterdam (2 Nights)
Welcome to the colorful city of Amsterdam. Explore this city of bicycles and boats before embarking upon a cruise along the old waterways. We will discover the architectural gems of the old city, including mansions dating from the Golden Age of the 17th Century.This evening we will enjoy a scenic canal cruise, including a light dinner and welcome drinks.
Day 2: August 2, 2023 - A Day Exploring Dutch Culture & History
Take a trip back in time to discover the centuries old traditions of Holland, stopping in the pretty town of Haarlem where we join a local specialist for a walking tour through the cobblestone streets, and admire the charming gabled houses. Dive into culture and visit Zaanse Schans to sample delicious Dutch cheeses and investigate the inner workings of one of the country's many windmills.
Along the way, you'll learn about the Zuiderzee, and it's incredible story of land reclamation and battle against the encroaching sea. We travel to the fishing village of Valendam, on the shores of the Ijsselmeer, our gateway into a Holland of yesteryear.
Day 3: August 3, 2023 - Enjoy a Scenic Cruise in the Rhineland
Journey through Germany to the highest castle in the Rhine River Valley for an exclusive Be My Guest experience where you'll Connect With Locals over lunch in medieval surrounds and be transported back to a time of kings and knights. We’ll board a river cruise to St. Goar then head to the old university town of Heidelberg, with its impressive Renaissance structures, Baroque Old Town and views of the ruined red sandstone castle. We venture to our Rhineland hotel, where we'll spend our evening at leisure.
Day 4: August 4, 2023 - Rhineland - Schaffhausen - Lucerne (2 Nights)
Delve into a world of legends and fairy-tales today as you enter the enchanting Black Forest. Here, we’ll Dive Into Culture and witness the fine craft of cuckoo clock making, before visiting the dramatic Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, the largest waterfall in Europe. We cross the Swiss border, admiring the exquisite alpine setting and arrive on the shores of Lake Lucerne where we will stay for the next two nights.
Day 5: August 5, 2023 - Lucerne Orientation & Free Time
Soak up the relaxed lakeside atmosphere before your morning orientation begins. Cross the solid wooden Chapel Bridge, visit the solemn Lion Monument, commemorating the massacre of the Swiss Guards in 1792 and spend your afternoon shopping in the Old Town for Swiss souvenirs and chocolates. Consider an Optional Experience ascending the surrounding mountains for panoramic alpine views, wander along the tranquil lake shore or stroll around the city admiring the decorative signposts and ornate façades lining the city's streets.
Day 6: August 6, 2023 - Lucerne - Burgundy Wine Region - Paris (2 Nights)
See the changing landscape as you travel into France through Alsace and cross the Maginot Line. Admire the scenic Burgundy Wine Region, famous for its delicious Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties, before arriving in Paris. Indulge in a free evening to explore the grand boulevards of the French capital. Experience the pageantry of Paris first-hand and opt for an Optional Experience to a Parisian Cabaret.
Day 7: August 7, 2023 - Paris Sightseeing & Free Time
Join a Local Specialist today and delve into the artistic and historic treasures of Paris, including views of the elegant Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. View Notre Dame Cathedral and enjoy a stroll through the Latin Quarter. This afternoon, amble through the city’s stylish gardens, avenues and lanes, admiring the sophisticated atmosphere or consider joining an Optional Experience to the exquisite Palace of Versailles. This evening we enjoy a Farewell Dinner with our travel companions and Travel Director.
Day 8: August 8, 2023 - Farewell Paris
After breakfast, say a fond au revoir to your fellow travelers.

PRICE: The advertised price is in US dollars, per person twin share. Please note that a minimum of 11 guests is required for the trip to operate. Should the minimum passenger count fall below this number, please accept that the trip may be cancelled.
DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of is due at time of booking.
AMENDMENTS: Fees may apply to any change made to your booking once confirmed.
REFUNDS: No refund is available if cancellations occur after the trip has commenced or in respect of any sightseeing, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized.
ITINERARY CHANGES & TRIP CANCELLATION: Prices are based on costs, charges, tariffs, taxes, levies and exchange rates at the time of publication. In the event that such fluctuations affect the price to be paid for services, we reserve the right to adjust the price as necessary at any time. We reserve the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any trip departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. The advertised trip requires minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met, we reserve the right to alter or cancel arrangements.
