RETAINER FEE AGREEMENT

In order to perform the professional services required to design and arrange your travels, a retainer fee is required. The fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and final upon receipt.

Vacation planning involves a great deal of time. Our work is based on years of personal experience and professional expertise. We research cruises, hotels, tours, and activities to meet your specific needs, contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, draft itineraries, and more. We provide itineraries, vacation plans, and tailored travel arrangements that give travelers peace of mind and save them time.
 
If you choose not to book through us for any reason (decided not to go, booked elsewhere, was just shopping, etc.), then the fee will be retained by us as payment for services rendered. The research fee is valid for 30 days. Otherwise, we will consider the request canceled. If you reconvene anytime thereafter, a new research fee will be due.
 
RETAINER FEE BREAKDOWN
By signing the retainer fee form, you hereby agree to this Agreement and its terms listed herein:
  1. - The authorization & disclosure is not considered complete until this form is executed by you.
  2. - We will not commence any planning until the retainer has been paid, and we will not continue any planning if retainer fees are due.
  3. - Your quotes/proposals/itineraries cannot be released until this form is executed and returned.
  4. - I agree with the above terms and conditions and retain Destins by Dorsey, LLC to research my vacation plans.
  5. - I agree that the retainer fee is nonrefundable, non-transferable, final, and is not applied towards reservation booking.
  6. - Furthermore, I understand a new retainer fee will be charged should I initiate any new requests after 30 days.

By submitting payment, you understand this charge is a planning retainer for professional travel design services (consultation, research, and curated recommendations). This payment is separate from the cost of travel.

✅ Retainer Amounts

  • Flexible/Free Independent Traveler (FIT): $50 total (one-time, not per person)

  • Group Trip Booking: $100 total (one-time) — paid by the Group Leader

🧾 Retainer Applies To Planning Only

  • The planning retainer covers planning services only and does not represent the cost of travel.

  • The planning retainer is not applied toward supplier deposits or your vacation package balance.

⚠️ Final Sale Policy

  • All planning retainer payments are required, final, non-refundable, and non-transferable once submitted.

🏷️ Eligibility (Selecting the Correct Option)

  • FIT is for bookings of four (4) or fewer hotel/resort rooms.

  • Group Trip Booking is for bookings of five (5) or more hotel/resort rooms.
