Thank you for choosing The Alumni Group for your upcoming group travel! We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our payment and cancellation policy to make your travel experience as smooth as possible. Please review the following terms and conditions:
- Deposits: All deposits made to The Alumni Group are non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit secures your reservation and is a commitment to join the adventure.

Payment Options: You have two payment options:
- Automatic Draft: You can set up automatic draft payments for your convenience.
- Individual Payment Schedule: You may choose to make individual payments on specified dates.
- Insufficient Funds: If any payments are returned by your financial institution due to insufficient funds, you will have a 7-day grace period to settle the payment. Additionally, you will incur an insufficient fund fee of $100, as well as any additional fees charged by your institution. It's important to ensure that your account has sufficient funds to cover payments.
- Card Decline: If your credit card declines for ANY REASON and you pass the 7-day grace period to update or change your card, a $50 reinstatement fee will be added to your next payment. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Cancellation Policy:
- Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable..

Cancellation Fee:
- If you cancel 180 days or more before the trip, your deposit plus a $250 cancellation fee per person will be charged.
- Cancellations within 180 days of the trip will result in the forfeiture of all payments made.

Nonpayment:
- Missing two consecutive payments will result in being dropped from the trip for nonpayment.
- If you are dropped for nonpayment, no refunds will be issued.
- Late Fee: Late payments after 7 days on your monthly payments will result in a late fee of $50, which will be added to your next payment . To avoid late fees, please ensure your payments are made on or before the due dates.
- Cancellation Notice: All cancellations must be made in writing.
Roommate Matching Available!
Note: Per resort policy, two males can’t share unless legally married. If you're a female asking for a roommate, you may be paired with a male. Guys—if no match is found, you’ll need to upgrade to a single.

Once we receive 75% of your reservation rate, our Admin Team will reach out with your match's name and contact info (via email or Facebook DM). We’ll also provide your details to them.

Travel Insurance Recommendation: We highly recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy within 3 days after booking. Look for one that includes trip cancellation coverage, especially the "Cancel for Any Reason" option, to cover your non-refundable trip expenses. Trip cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses should you need to cancel your trip for any reason.
The Alumni Group Resort Waiver Policy
The Alumni Group offers an optional Resort Change Waiver to provide flexibility for your hotel stay at Hedonism II. Please review the following terms carefully, as this waiver does not affect The Alumni Group's cancellation policy.
Eligibility:
- Payment in Full: The Resort Change Waiver is only effective if your trip has been paid in full. It does not apply to trips with partial payments.
- Time of Purchase: The waiver must be purchased at the same time as your initial trip purchase (within 7 days of your deposit). If purchased after this timeframe or after making final payment, the waiver will not be valid.
Resort Terms (Hedonism II):
For $55 per person, the Hedonism Change Waiver (HCW) allows you to change your hotel dates up to the day of departure for any reason, without penalty. Please note the following conditions for the HCW:
- Coverage: The HCW only covers changes to your hotel dates. It does not cover flights, lost baggage, trip interruptions, or optional activities (e.g., spa services, sightseeing).
- Credit Policy: The HCW offers a one-year credit equal to the value of your hotel stay, which may be transferred to a future date within one year from your original departure date. If you do not travel within one year, the value of the hotel stay will be forfeited.
- No Cash Refunds: The HCW does not offer a cash refund; it only provides credit for future travel.
- Group Policy: If one person in a room purchases the HCW, all occupants in that room must also purchase the waiver.
Important Reminders:
- Non-Refundable: The HCW is non-refundable.
- Separate Trip Protection: We strongly encourage purchasing separate trip protection that includes flights, as the HCW is not insurance and does not cover airfare.
Please note that The Alumni Group's cancellation policy is separate from the HCW and remains applicable as follows: all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and any cancellations made within 180 days of the trip are subject to full forfeiture of payments.
