Walk in the footsteps of Jesus, as you journey from his birthplace to the site of his Crucifixion. This is a journey that brings Biblical stories to life, taking you to some of the world's most sacred Christian stores including the birthplace of Jesus, the site of the Miracle of Loaves and Fishes, the Sermon on the Mount, and many more. Monday, September 7th - Arrive in Israel


Upon arrival at the Tel Aviv Airport, you have a transfer to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to relax or explore.

Tuesday, September 8th -Tel Aviv - Galilee, Caesarea, Mount Carmel


Visit Caesarea and view excavations from Roman, Byzantine and Crusader periods. Continue to Haifa and up to Mount Carmel to visit the Cave of the Profit Elijah. Continue for a panoramic view of Haifa Bay, and the Bahai Shrine and Persian Gardens (a World Heritage Site). Drive west to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus, to visit the Church of Annunciation. Proceed to your hotel in the Galilee where dinner is included.

Wednesday, September 9th - Galilee Mountains to the Sea of Galilee

Proceed through the Galilee Mountains to the Sea of Galilee. Begin with a visit to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then to Magdala-- the home of Mary Magdalene – with ruins of the first century and a new church built on the site, simple in design but also rich in mosaics and murals. Continue to Tabgha, site of the Miracle of Loaves and Fishes. Then to Capernaum, ancient synagogue, site of Jesus’ Ministry. Enjoy a private boat ride on the Sea of Galilee . Ascend to the Golan Heights, and up Mount Bental, for a view of the surrounding areas. Enjoy a Jeep ride, off the beaten track for an up-close understanding of the story of the heroic battle between the Israeli armored forces and the Syrian forces, in the Yom Kippur War.

Thursday, September 10th - Galilee - Jerusalem

Drive along Sea of Galilee –to the Yardenit – Baptism Site on the southern tip of the Sea of Galilee. Drive north to Mount Tabor. Ascend to the Church of the Transfiguration. Proceed south along the Jordan River Valley to the ancient city of Beit She´an – one of the Roman Decapolis cities - with extensive on-going excavations.

Friday, September 11th - Garden Tomb, Mount of Olives, Dolorosa


Visit the Garden Tomb. Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Old and New Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. Enter the Old City for a walking tour of the Christian Quarter. Begin with a visit to St. Anne’s Church, continue along part of the Via Dolorosa to the Church of Holy Sepulcher. Stroll through oriental bazaars to the Cardo - the reconstructed main street of Byzantine Jerusalem, then to the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest site. Tour of the Western Wall Tunnels. Proceed to Mt. Zion, visit the room of the last supper and King David’s tomb. Experience “Kabbalat Shabbat” – Shabbat welcoming ceremony at the Western Wall. Enjoy a traditional Shabbat dinner at your hotel.

Saturday, September 12th - Dead Sea, Massada, Tower of David

Drive down to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, and south along its shores to Massada - a World Heritage Site. Ascend & descend by cable car to view excavations of this famous fortress. Enjoy lunch and swim at hotel on the Beach. There is an opportunity to experience the Dead Sea’s therapeutic qualities. Perhaps sail on the Dead Sea (Boat or Kayak), a once in a lifetime experience (minimum 20 participants). In the evening view the “Night Spectacular” -- the Tower of David comes to life with a spectacular Sound and Light Show (This is an outdoor show, please dress appropriately).

Sunday, September 13th - New Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Holocaust Museum

Drive through New Jerusalem, past the Jerusalem Theater, the President’s Residence and the Knesset (Israel’s parliament). View the Giant Menorah depicting Israel’s history through the ages. Drive to the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum for a private tour, including the Children’s Memorial and the Avenue of the Righteous gentiles. Visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book wing which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Proceed to the Machane Yehuda market- experience firsthand the Hustle and Bustle of the market place just before Shabbat. Drive to Bethlehem to visit Manger Square and Church of the Nativity. (Bethlehem is under Palestinian Authority-- passports and change of vehicle will be required at the border post. The tour will be guided by a Palestinian guide). Return to Jerusalem and freshen up for farewell dinner.

Monday, September 14th - Jerusalem - Depart Tel Aviv

After breakfast, you have a transfer to the airport.
