- (Optional) Pre-funk party. We're starting the SAILebration event a day early, join us in Los Angeles the day before we set sail for a meet and greet event, as well as negotiated group rates at a nearby hotel. (The details will be released sometime in 2025, as rates are not yet available with local hotels).
Even if you decide not to join us at our pre-stay hotel, we HIGHLY recommend arriving in Los Angeles at least a day or two early to account for any travel delays.

What's a holiday without a few choice cocktails? Your sailing includes our essential drinks and, while Virgin Voyages doesn't have traditional packages, their drink offerings are very reasonably priced. If you're looking to set aside some loot for premium beverages, Sailors can also purchase a Bar Tab before setting sail, plus there's a little extra they add on as well.
Bar Tabs are per room and non-refundable once onboard, but you're welcome to buy a drink (or a round of drinks) for your friends onboard.
What's the benefit of purchasing a Bar Tab?
It pays to pre-pay! Boost your experience with a pre-purchased $100, $200, or $300 Bar Tab and score bonus onboard credit for extra rounds on us throughout your voyage. So feel free to order that extra drink
- $100 Bar Tab: an extra $10 to spend and a total of $110 in drinks to share

Itinerary:
- Day 1 (Los Angeles): Departs at 5p, all aboard is 2 hours before sailing.
- Day 2 (Sea Day)

Day 3 (Cabo San Lucas 12:00p-7:00p): Spend the day on the notoriously beautiful beaches, go on an adventure via zipline, glass bottom funicular, ATV or snorkel.

Day 4 (Mazatlan 8:00a-5:00p): With miles of sprawling beaches and an exciting cultural scene, Mazatlàn is an idyllic place for infinite reasons.

Day 5 (Puerto Vallarta 8:00a-5:00p): Rapidly becoming popular for beachgoers and adventure seekers alike, this tropical paradise has something for everyone.
- Day 6-7 (At Sea)
- Day 8 (Los Angeles): Arrives at 6:30a, please allow at least one hour for the gangway to open before disembarkation.
Cancellation policy:
If you’re booking more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), you can receive a full refund on any payments, excluding your deposit. For your deposit, you will receive Future Voyage Credit at this time.
Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit (FVC), good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date.
Once you’re within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send someone else in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage if you really can't sail. Please note that taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the booking is canceled.
Please note, from time to time, your travel agency/First Mate may repackage your voyage with other travel arrangements such as flights, hotels etc, and subsequently act as a tour operator. Please note these policies do not apply to tour operator bookings. Please speak to your tour operator/First Mate for further information.
