Travel in the beauty of All Saints Bay:
- Enjoy a schooner tour through the calm waters of All Saints Bay, the largest Bay in Brazil, where we will visit 2 of the Bay’s 56 islands. While experiencing the nautical paradise, we will basque in the beauty of the bay’s clear waters where diving visibility extends as far as 10 to 20m. We will continue to Frades Island, stopping at Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Beach, which boasts the coveted Blue Flag Seal for social and environmental responsibility. This is the most sought-after tourist spot on the island- it is irresistible for a good swim and has coveted food stands!
- We then proceed to the next destination: Itaparica Island. Itaparica, named for its geographical characteristics, meaning “around stones” in Tupi, is the largest island in Brazil, steeped in history and adorned with beautiful beaches, local fauna, and a touch of native wonder! The surrounding reefs help keep the waters calm and shallow.
- The last stop will be at Ponta de Areia beach where we can also enjoy a great swim and dine on delicious Bahian cuisine for lunch at the Restaurante Manguezal. Our return trip to Salvador will be at the end of the day. There will be a view of the sunset visible from All Saints Bay. The sun will be setting on the Bay as we make the trip back to Salvador.

- If you want, you can go down, take a walk, and return to the cabin.

Day 5: Tuesday, February 21, 2023 - Travel from Salvador to Rio De Janeiro

Day 6: Wednesday, February 22, 2023 - Rio De Janeiro

FULL-DAY SUGAR LOAF + CORCOVADO MOUNTAIN/ WITH LUNCH:
- Partake in a tour of Corcovado Mountain and Beaches.
- Board a cog train from Cosme Velho Station for a ride to Corcovado Mountain to stand in awe of one of the world’s most famous landmarks: the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer.
- Experience the 20-minute adventurous train journey through the dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca, offering a wonderful opportunity to examine the forest's lush tropical vegetation and enjoy the scenic landscapes of the beaches and city.
- Disembark at the top of Corcovado and climb the steps leading to the top lookout. This is where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, gloriously stands.
- Get up close to Christ the Redeemer while absorbing the panoramic view of this beautiful city from the incredible mountain-top vantage point.
- Descend via train. The beauty of the tour continues as you pass by Rio's world-famous beaches.
- Lunch will be at a local restaurant (beverages not included) After lunch, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca to be introduced to one of the largest symbols of the city: Sugar Loaf Mountain. You will travel to the top by cable car. The first cable car will take you to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high with beautiful views of the islands in Guanabara Bay, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Corcovado Mountain. A second cable car takes you up to the top from this stage. At 395 meters, you will enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and several beaches of Niterói. After riding the Cable car back down, we will return to the hotel.

SAMBA SCHOOL WINNER PARADE
- The samba school parade at the Rio Sambadrome (samba stadium) is something that everyone must have experienced at least once in their life! The Grandstands (also known as “arquibancadas”) are large concrete steps, located at the highest part of the Sambadrome, with an incredible aerial view of the parade. The tickets for the grandstand are the best value for money for the Rio de Janeiro Carnival and the location at the top gives an excellent perspective of the samba school.
