Please click on the chat icon to send us your question(s) if you do not find an answer in the FAQs

What if I am ready to make a reservation, and need time to find a roommate?

No problem.  You do not have register all travelers at the same time.  It is more important that at least one traveler is booked to reserve the room.

Just note on your Traveler Information Sheet the name of your roommate (if known) or mark it To Be Determined (TBD).

What can I do if I need a roommate to split costs?

If you would like assistance with room sharing, please indicate on the second page of the Traveler Information Sheet.

Select "Yes" to the question:   WOULD YOU LIKE HELP IN FINDING A ROOMMATE TO AVOID THE SINGLE OCCUPANCY FEE?

When we are notified of someone looking for a roommate, we will conduct our own review.  Then we will contact both travelers for introductions and to see if it is a good fit.

What is the cost for triple occupancy?

Yes, three people may share a room; however, the per person cost is the same as reflected for double occupancy.

I don't see roundtrip trip flights in the travel package costs, is air transportation included?

This is a land-only package.

To complete your flight search for this trip, please use this search criteria:

Airlines To Consider:

  • Emirates
  • United
  • Delta

Examples of What We Found:

We conducted a search with the three airlines listed.   PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FLIGHT PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  Here is what we found:

When is the best time to travel to Bali, Indonesia?

The best time to visit is between May and August when the weather is most settled.  Flight prices peak for July/August.  The hottest month of the year is November with an average daily maximum of 90 degrees and an average low of 77 degrees. The coolest month of the year is August with an average daily maximum of 84 C and an average low of 75 C.    While it may remain hot (with an average 31 degrees most days), the rain will fall and skies overcast during the rainy season – with November and March the most rainy months.

Do I need a passport or travel visa to visit Bali?

Passport: U.S. citizens (U.S. passport holders) visiting Bali must have a passport that is  active for at least six months from your arrival date. Also, your passport needs to have at least two blank pages.

In addition, you must have:

  • Contact information
  • Travel plans
  • Passport details
  • Basic personal details

Visa:  U.S. citizens can enter into Indonesia / Bali with a US Passport. US Passport holders can now travel to Indonesia and purchase a Visa on Arrival.

You can purchase the Visa already online and avoid queuing at Visas On Arrival (VoA) counters at the airport which will save you time and is much more convenient.

Only use the Official Immigration Website to purchase your Visa on Arrival online (Link Below). There are some fake websites out there.

You can apply for e-VOA 14 days before your travel. However, you are advised to create an e-VOA request at least 48 hours before your departure.

If you do not purchase the e-VoA before you arrive in Indonesia, you can still purchase the VoA at the VoA counter in the airport arrival hall.

What's the best currency to take to Bali?

The official currency of Bali is the same money used in all Indonesian islands: the Indonesian rupiah. This is the only currency officially used on the island.  This means you will not be able to use the US Dollar (but you can convert it).   This means it is best to bring the Indonesian Rupiah to Bali. If you can't buy some before your trip, the next best options are Australian Dollars (AUD), US Dollars (USD) or Euros (EUR). You can easily change these 3 currencies almost anywhere on the island.

Prices are usually quoted with the abbreviation before the price while units of a thousand are represented with a full stop, rather than a comma. This means that you’ll typically find ten thousand rupiahs written as Rp. 10.000 or often just Rp. 10K.

The thousands are also often implied. If you see a price tag of Rp. 40 or someone tells you an item costs “forty”, it’s reasonable to assume this would be Rp. 40,000.

Is it safe to drink the water?

The tap water in Bali IS NOT recommended for drinking, so avoid it and stick to sealed bottled water. That includes steering clear of more than you might think, including ice in drinks, brushing your teeth with tap water, ingesting water in the shower, and food that has been washed in tap water.

Can I use my credit/debit cards?

Paying by card in Bali is a fairly safe option. Most of the bigger restaurants, resorts, shopping stalls will all accept payment via card. Taxis, small local restaurants (warungs), beach bars, and market stalls still only accept cash.
