Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens

We strongly suggest that you travel on a passport valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel.  Click here for information to obtain your U.S. Passport. 

Another option is using a Real ID  driver’s license or a valid Government-issued photo ID, and certified birth certificate. 

United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information.

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest.  Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation.  Reservations should be made in your full name as they appear on your travel documents.

No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment.  In case you have to cancel, a full refund may not be available without travel insurance. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.  

Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and more, based on your specific needs.  

Many travel insurance plans offer medical coverage for emergency medical expenses incurred while traveling. Also, be aware of the plan’s covered and non-covered reasons for cancellation.  

Listed below are three travel protection/insurance providers for your consideration.  Note, if you are flying, consider including the cost of your flight along with the cruise package when purchasing your travel insurance.  The Royal Caribbean travel protection will only cover the cost of the cruise fare.

Pre-Cruise stay

If you will be flying into Seattle (SEA), it is recommended that you arrive the day before embarkation (Sunday, August 24, 2025).  This will ensure that you avoid any concerns related to delayed or canceled flights and reach the port on time. We're currently in the process of negotiating a group rate for a one-night stay at a Hilton property in Seattle. We'll also arrange transfers from the airport to the hotel. And transfer from the hotel to the port. Additionally, a complimentary breakfast will be provided. Once we finalize the agreement, we'll update the website with all the details.
