A must for all visitors to Argentina is a visit

interesting activities in the Glacier is the tour starting around 10:00h in
Bay “Bajo de las Sombras”, 8km before reaching the Glacier itself and 73km away
from Calafate. There you board a boat to cross Brazo Rico, sailing for
approximately 30min in front of the Glacier. Landing on the opposite coast, it
takes a 30min walk to reach the Glacier. Explore the Los Glaciares National Park visitor's center, walk the viewing platforms and be in awe of the Perito Moreno glacier. Optional experience includes a walk on the glacier, and is available at additional charge.
Meal(s): Breakfast, Dinner
December 11 El Calafate
Travel to Punta Bandera Port, where, water
conditions permitting, a comfortable boat is waiting to navigate the Argentino
Lake towards the Upsala Glacier on a full day cruise, one of the largest among
the continental ices. After crossing
“Boca del Diablo”, the lake´s narrowest area, the natural gateway to the Northern
Canal, the route heads West. While the scenery turns into woods and high
mountains with hanging glaciers, the boat finds itself surrounded by enormous
icebergs, proof of Upsala Glacier´s regression process, until reaching the huge
front. It is recommended to wear warm clothing, a waterproof jacket, gloves,
hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Meal(s): Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner

Carlos de Bariloche, located in the Andean foothills, can be compared to the
Swiss Alps for its beauty. Situated on
the southern shore of Lago Nahuel Huapi, Bariloche is the most important town
in the area and the best departure point to explore the lakes, forests and
snow-capped mountains. Bariloche is
famous for its delicious chocolate production, local beer and smoked cold cuts
delicacies as well as tasty dishes influenced by the European cuisine.
