Join Kathy & Dane and Penny & Blaine on the 7-NIGHT ALASKA DAWES GLACIER CRUISE onboard CELEBRITY EDGE from SEATTLE. Meet new people, see the world, make new connections... that's what it's all about! We'd love to have you join us!
We'll have one day/night in Seattle and then board the Celebrity Edge and head to Alaska, sailing seven-nights with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, & Skagway, Alaska and Victoria, BC with sightseeing at Endicott Arm Fjord, Dawes Glacier, and the Inside Passage.

Hi! I'm Kathy! I'm the owner of Infinity Travel LLC, the "Kathy" in Connections by Kathy, as well as a longtime travel agent & experienced tour conductor. I'll be your main point of contact for this trip. I'm also writing this guide. I've been in the travel industry for almost 20 years and am so excited to experience this adventure with you! My awesome husband Dane will be joining us as well. He's super laid back and an all-around good guy to talk to. You might find him holding my signs for me. As you might imagine, we LOVE to travel and genuinely enjoy each other's company. We're really looking forward to bringing you along for the ride.
My friend/coach/bff Penny and her husband Blaine will also be joining us on this trip, (don't tell her I borrowed this picture from her Facebook page). They are my inspiration for this trip! Blaine will be celebrating a milestone birthday in 2024, so that makes it even more special. As you can see, they're pretty fun to hang out with, too!

What to Expect
- Book your airline tickets to arrive on Aug 22, 2024, the day before the cruise. Kathy can help make arrangements if needed. -
- I'll be at the hotel to greet you in Seattle, you'll have the day to yourselves, then we'll meet for an included Welcome Dinner (TBA). -
- One night at the waterfront Edgewater Hotel is included, in a City View King room. -
- The following morning, we'll take a quick 15 minute bus ride to the cruise pier, drop our checked bags with pre-tipped porters, & board our ship! -
- Your Concierge Class stateroom will be your headquarters for the next week, go ahead an unpack and make yourself at home. -
- During the cruise, you'll have plenty of time to yourself or you can hang out with the group, then we'll meet for dinner and share stories every night. -
- You always have the option of dining elsewhere if you'd like. Specialty dining... room service... you do you. -
- We've selected Optional Group Excursions & Tours each day (except Victoria, BC) Just book the same excursion in your cruise planner if you want to join us! -
- If you prefer, you can also just do your own thing... visit the sled dogs, take a helicopter tour, or just mosey around town. That's completely up to you! -
- We'll most likely plan some other get-togethers on the ship during Cruising at Sea days. I'll send everyone an advance email and add it to the Official Itinerary. -
- At the end of the cruise, Aug 30, 2024, we'll take Celebrity's busses back to the airport. -
- This is the week leading up to Labor Day weekend, so let me know if you'd rather stick around in Seattle for a bit & I'll send quotes your way. -
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Your package will include all travel arrangements, deluxe hotel accommodations, 7-night cruise aboard the Celebrity Edge, a welcome reception on the 1st night, transfer from the hotel to the pier, and lots of free time to explore all that Alaska! TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Insurance is part of a well planned trip. If you were to have any unavoidable issues during your trip, you may be covered. You may also be eligible for a refund in the event you need to cancel due to a covered reason. In the case of Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, you could cancel for any reason and receive a refund.

Age Restrictions
This is an Adults Only trip, all guests traveling with Connections by Kathy must be 21+. The ship, however, is all ages so there may be families onboard. Thanks!

At this time, there are no covid-19 restrictions or testing required for this itinerary. This is subject to change, based solely on the discretion of each destination & supplier.
Passport Requirements
You are required to have a Passport Booklet (not card), with 2 blank pages, that's valid least 6 months past your intended stay.
Please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date.
New passport applications & renewals are currently taking up to 12 weeks to process.
