Welcome to the 2025 White Water Rafting and Weekend in Leavenworth!

 
It's nearly summer in Washington and that means it's time to hit the river!  Whether you ride or drive it, this adventure makes for a great day trips or weekend getaway.  You have the option to just join us for rafting for the day, come up early on Friday to spend the night, or extend it to 2 or 3 nights and make a full weekend of it with wine & spirit tasting, BBQ and, of course, Bavarian food!  Our hotel is located within a couple of blocks of all the happenings on Front Street. 
 
About White Water Rafting:
Join us for Washington’s most popular whitewater rafting trip on the scenic Wenatchee River near Leavenworth! Early June is peak season with weather averages about 75 - 85 degrees and the river is about 45 to 65 degrees, snowmelt-powered Class III–IV rapids, and refreshing river vibes. All gear is provided — just wear a swimsuit under your clothes and get ready to paddle! Kids 5+ are welcome with adults or big kids to power the raft. 
 
We rendezvous at Leavenworth at an exclusive private park-like riverside location where we have parking, shade trees, changing rooms/bathrooms with real flush toilets, and ease of finding us on Hwy 2. All you rafting gear is included (with a wide range of sizes)  - just have swimsuits under your street clothes for easy changing). Everybody gets to participate and paddle the raft. Kids as young as 5 or 6 years of age can go but the majority of the participants in each raft should be teens or big kids or adults so the raft has paddle power. We'll meet at 1pm on Saturday and you'll be back to your vehicle by 5pm. 
 
Book soon!  The Forest Service restricts the number of people on the river, so space is limited and it's a "first paid, first served" situation. No refunds, however your spot is transferable. 
 
About the Hotel:
Just two blocks from the heart of the charming Bavarian Village in Leavenworth, our hotel offers comfy rooms with big-screen TVs, microwaves, and fridges — plus perks like free Wi-Fi, a full breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center! Cozy up by the lobby fireplace or bring your furry friends (pet-friendly rooms are available). Book a stay of 1 night or more, Friday or Saturday through Monday (Saturday-night stays require a 2-night minimum).
 
About the Weekend:
For those who come Friday, or staying for dinner on Saturday, we can can head out to one of the best BBQ places in the state - Sweetwood BBQ in Wenatchee.  It's a 30 min drive away and well worth it! Plan to purchase extras to take home or back to your room!

Leavenworth is home to a variety of wineries and a great setting for wine tasting. There are also spirit, mead and cider tastings as well.  One of our new favorite places to visit is the Hard Row to Hoe. Beyond food and drink, there's hiking and the new Adventure Park | Alpine Coaster. Check it out!
 
And we can't forget Bavarian food! From bier and brats to schnitzel and pretzels, we have several great choices, like my favorites Ludwig's and the Gingerbread Factory. This is a great foodie trip as well.

All guests will be required to acknowledge the risk involved in this outdoor adventure activity, and each person is to read and sign the "Assumption of Risk" form when checking in at the river and before participating in the activity. (A copy will be sent to you after booking if you'd like to fill out and bring it with you to the river.)

Itinerary:

  • Friday, June 6: Arrive a day before the rafting trip as a day ride/drive or to spend the night.  Option to head over to Sweetwood BBQ
 
  • Saturday, June 7: Enjoy breakfast before an afternoon of white water rafting. For those checking in today, arrive by noon in order to meeting the rafting group at1pm.  Finished by 5pm.  Head out to Wenatchee for dinner at Sweetwood BBQ (again, yes, it's that good!) before heading home or to the hotel.
 
  • Sunday, June 8: If you're heading home today, explore the town before your hit the road. Go on a short hike, check out the Adventure park, sample local wines, spirits, mead, ciders and grab a late lunch or early dinner. Those staying another night, let's kick back at some local places for live music, karaoke or chill in the hot tub.
 
  • Monday, June 9: After a hearty breakfast, we have to check out but don't have to go home yet.  There's more to do, but if you didn't do everything you wanted, don't worry - we'll be back!

Rate includes taxes and fees. Space is limited and it's a "first paid, first served" situation and subject to sell out without notice. 


 It is about 12 river miles and we hit about 12 - 15 rapids depending on the water flows at the time of your trip and the nice gap between rapids makes this a "forgiving" river with plenty of time to rest, recover and catch your breath between the whitewater rapids.
