I wanted to take us somewhere with the mountains and lakes I love, but also castles, caves, good food, and little towns we’ll actually have time to enjoy. Then I realized we could add truffle dogs and the Adriatic coast. I was sold!
We’ll make potica on an island, follow truffle dogs into the woods, and watch the light change over the Adriatic. And between all of that? Time to wander, find a café, or take a perfectly respectable vacation nap.
A little adventure. A lot to look forward to.
Gratuities for drivers, local guides, and other service providers
We’ll wander through alpine towns, cross mountain landscapes by rail, explore a vast underground canyon, hunt for truffles with local experts, and watch the Adriatic glow at sunset. The journey includes daily breakfast, four lunches, one welcome dinner, private group transportation on touring days, and a balance of shared experiences and time to explore independently.
