DEPOSIT PAYMENTS:

All deposit payments, for land and/or air must be made via agency cheque or credit card only / Group leader credit card only.

 

FINAL PAYMENT AND DOCUMENT ISSUANCE:

Final payment and valid passport copies* are due no later than 90 days prior to departure. For payments within 90 days of departure or if air tickets and documents need to be issued immediately after payment, a certified cheque, bank draft or wire transfer must be received. Normally air tickets and travel documents are sent out 30 days prior to departure.  

 

The above are our normal final payment terms; however certain arrangements may require the balance of payment earlier.

Important Note: Cancellation penalties for some travel arrangements may differ from our general conditions. In this occurrence, you will be advised of these addendums at the time of confirmation or prior to any penalties becoming applicable and as soon as we are notified of these special conditions. 

INSURANCE:

 

It is strongly recommended that clients purchase cancellation insurance to protect themselves against cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In the event a traveller becoming ill during a tour and has not purchased insurance, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler's responsibility. Based on Go way Travel’s current cancellation policies the passenger may incur up to 100% cancellation penalties and should protect themselves with cancellation insurance. 

 

Insurance MUST be purchased within 7 days of individual client deposits or payments being made and only covers non-refundable client money held by Goway Travel. If the group cancels prior to final payment and supplier fees being applicable, due to the required minimum numbers not being reached, the premium is refundable providing no claim has been made. In all other cases the premium is non-refundable.

Please ensure clients have arranged all documentation with the appropriate consulate well in advance of their departure from US and that passports are also valid for the minimum validity required for ALL destinations being travelled to. The information following only applies to the itinerary booked with Goway Travel and does not cover any independently arranged destinations.

HEALTH INFORMATION:

 

COVID: Your travel arrangements could still be impacted by COVID. It is your responsibility to keep yourself and members of your traveling party (travel companions) informed of, and meet, all requirements in relation to your trip and any COVID based restrictions. We suggest these are constantly monitored prior to, and until your trip is complete, as they can change at any time, even while travelling overseas. The purchase of travel insurance with Covid coverage is highly recommended.

 

Travelling with medicines: Some countries have restrictions on travelling with medicines (prescriptions and/or nonprescription). It is the travelers’ responsibility to check these requirements.

CURRENCY PRICING FLUCTUATIONS

This proposal is based on the current exchange rate(s). Should there be considerable currency fluctuations, we reserve the right to apply any necessary surcharges. In the event of any additional fuel surcharges by the Land Suppliers and/or airlines, we reserve the right to add these to the costs of the land package and/or airfare. Any applicable increases will be advised in writing prior to final payment. Prices are guaranteed once final payment has been made.

 

GROUP DEFINITION

Land: A minimum of 10 paying adult passengers travelling on the same itinerary/ arrangements.

 

Air: For most airlines, a minimum of 10 paying adults departing on the same date and travelling to the same destination on the same flights. Return travel on the same date from the same destination, however, approximately 10-25% of the group size may be permitted to vary their return travel date depending on the airline rules. For deviations, the airfare is subject to current airfare levels and airfare guarantees do not apply. 

 

Should the number of passengers fall below the required minimum (10), the booking will be deemed as F.I.T. Travel. Our F.I.T. department will provide a revised quotation based on actual numbers of passengers travelling on the given program. Important: The group quote and rates will no longer apply.

You will be collected from your hotel and taken on a Full Day Hunter Valley Tour.

The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest commercial wine producing district established over 150 years ago with over 7000 acres under vine. It is credited with being one of the finest wine growing regions in the world. Two of its most famous wine styles are the Semillon (often called Hunter Riesling) and the Shiraz (Hermitage or Burgundy).

The Lower Hunter wine region has a well deserved reputation for Chardonnay, Shiraz, Semillon and the earthy Pinot Noirs. Departing Sydney, travel over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the north shore via the Gore Hill Freeway to join the Pacific Highway. Join the F3 Freeway to cross the Hawkesbury River at Brooklyn. This area is renowned as a premier oyster-growing district. Continue into the Lower Hunter Valley and travel the Broke Road passing famous names including Tyrrells Winery. With more than 70 regional wineries, the Hunter Valley boasts both tiny, boutique wineries and larger wine producers. During the day there will be an opportunity to taste a selection of local wines. In the afternoon travel to Pokolbin Village for a short afternoon tea stop (at own expense) before returning to Sydney via Cessnock and the Freemans Water Hole. Continue along the F3 Freeway to Sydney’s north shore and back to the hotel.

The mountains are a natural wonderland of untamed bush, spectacular rock formations and native wildlife. This is one of the most spectacular and captivating wilderness parks in the country, and a supreme example of Australia’s diversity.

 

Featherdale Wildlife Park:

Visit Featherdale Wildlife Park for a memorable and unique experience in a natural and well

established bush setting. Featherdale has one of Australia's largest private collections of Australian animals. View Koalas, kangaroos and wallabies, wombats, fairy penguins and Australian reptiles.

Travel through the historic townships of Blaxland, Springwood, Lawson and Wentworth Falls and view the National Trust township of Leura. Leura is a little town made up of cafes, craft shops, art galleries, tea houses and quant boutiques. It is situated at the edge of the Blue Mountain National Park and has magnificent views of Mt Solitary.

Continue along Cliff Drive to Echo Point to view the world famous "Three Sisters".

Perched on the edge of the escarpment, Echo Point precinct provides panoramic views of the southern Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd Wilderness and the iconic Three Sisters rock formation from a variety of lookouts.
