Passport Requirements: For this tour, you must have at least 3 blank passport pages and must have no less than 6 months before expiring. Your passport should not expire before February 28, 2025. (source: US State Department) 

Visa Requirement: A Travel Visa is required for U.S. citizens traveling to Zimbabwe. A Travel Visa is not required for U.S. citizens traveling to South Africa. For more information on what’s needed to obtain a visa, cost, or assistance with applying for one check out: CIBT 

A visa on arrival facility is available for U.S. passport holders visiting Zimbabwe. The current visa cost is $30 for a 30-day/ single-entry visa (subject to change).

What's Not Included:

• Day 4: Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to Karongwe Private Game Reserve. This area, near Kruger National Park, is famous for its abundance of wildlife, including the “Big 5”—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo. After lunch, embark on your first exciting game drive.  (B, L, D) 

• Day 5: Enjoy an early morning game drive and afternoon game drive; you’ll have the chance to see kudu, giraffe, hippo, cheetah, spotted hyena, and more! (B, L, D) 

• Day 6: Rise early for your morning game drive. Afterwards, take a swim in the pool or visit the wellness center. Your afternoon game drive concludes with a sundowner drink as the sun sets! (B, L, D) 

• Day 10: Visit Victoria Falls for an awe-inspiring experience. Enjoy a guided walk and afterwards, enjoy free time for independent exploration. (B) 

• Day 11: Enjoy a full day at leisure for your own discoveries. (B) 

• Day 12: Your tour ends with a flight back to Johannesburg. Schedule departing flights after 6 pm. (B)

Trip Price:

Please make arrangements to book your flight to leave the U.S. on August 9, 2024, and arrive at Cape Town (CPT) International Airport on August 10, 2024. Check-in to the hotel is August 10, 2024.

Please make arrangements to book your return flight to leave Johannesburg (JNB) International Airport after 6pm on August 21, 2024. 

Once your flight is purchased, Click Here to enter your flight information. It must be received by May 30, 2024 to secure your roundtrip airport transfers. Failure to submit your flight information by this date will result in you forfeiting your airport transfers. If you plan to arrive to the tour days earlier, you are responsible for your own transportation.

Final travel itineraries, instructions, and a travel package will be sent about 2 weeks prior to travel.

This Is Not A Private Tour. The trip is open to other guests and non-JP Travel Adventure members. 

This tour is limited to a 20 guests so there’s always room to roam with extra space between you and other travelers—while still getting up close and personal to the experiences you’ve been dreaming of!

No matter the reason for cancellation the deposit is non-refundable/non-transferrable.

If you cancel 210-180 Days prior to departure the deposit plus $500 is non-refundable/non-transferrable.

If you can cancel after the final payment to 31 Days prior to departure 65% of the total trip price is non-refundable/non-transferrable.

If you can cancel 30 Days to day of departure, 100% of the total trip price is non-refundable/non-transferrable.
