Please come and join me! A trip to Tohoku, Japan, offers a journey into a region renowned for its natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and regional culinary experiences. Tohoku means Northeast in Japanese. You'll take a Shinkansen to the northeast region of Honshu, the Main Island, and explore the pristine beauty of the region.
Tohoku has its own unique history and local culture of snow country  They also have a deep history of the Samurai clans.
 
Foodies love Tohoku! It's a Japanese local food paradise. Each prefecture has its regional flavor hotpots, soups, and stews. As they were snowed for a long winter, they perfected fermentation of local materials, and not to mention, their "Jizake" (local sake) is not to be missed. 
 
The tour also takes you to Nikko. The temples and shrines are registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites, The shrine and temple buildings, together with their natural surroundings, have for centuries constituted a sacred site and the home of architectural and decorative masterpieces. They are also closely associated with prominent chapters of Japanese history, especially those relating to the symbolic figure of the great Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543-1616).
 
You will be returned to Tokyo in preparation for your departure to the next destination or to the homebound airport.

  1. International Flight - Please contact Ippo Travel if you'd like us to book your flights. Otherwise, please make your flight arrangements so you will arrive in Japan on October 20, 2024.
  2. Travel Insurance - Strongly advise to purchase travel insurance covering emergency medical care and trip interruption.
  3. Meals not included in the itinerary

  5. Personal expenses and drinks during meals unless mentioned.

Itinerary:

 
  • Day 1: Arrival to Tokyo (No tour). Stay one night in Tokyo. (No meals)
 
  • Day 2-3: Explore Towada, Aomori (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
 
  • Day 4-5: Owani, Aomor (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)
 
  • Day 6-8: Nikko, Tochigi (Meals: Breakfast)
 
  • Day 9:  Tokyo (No tour). Stay one night before your departure. (Meals: Breakfast)

Terms & Conditions of The Tour:


1. Booking and Payment:

Reserve your seat with $750 deposit.

Full Payment due by July 07, 2024 (Fri) 

Payment Methods:

* ACH through WeTravel (*): Handing Fee: 1% plus $0.30 per transaction 
* Visa/Master CC: Additional 2.9% Merchant Fee
* AMEX CC: Additional 3.9% Merchant Fee


2. Cancellation Policy:

- Before and on July 07, 2024, 30% of the deposit is refundable, and 70% is non-refundable. If we cancel the tour, 100% of the deposit will be refunded to you.
- After July 07, 2024, 50% of the package cost is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made after August 29, 2024, are 100% non-refundable.

 

3. No Changes to Itinerary:
- The tour itinerary cannot be altered. We carefully plan each tour aspect to ensure a seamless experience for all participants. Requests for changes or modifications to the established itinerary cannot be accommodated.

4. Insurance:
- All participants are strongly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, and personal belongings.

5. Group Size:
- The tour requires a minimum of 8 participants to proceed. Maximum group size is 10.
- We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum group size is not met.

6. Itinerary Changes:
- While every effort is made to adhere to the planned itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes for safety reasons or as deemed necessary by the tour leader.

7. Health and Fitness:
- Participants should be in good physical health to participate in the tour.
- Any medical conditions or special requirements must be disclosed at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to cancel your portion of the tour if any serious conditions are not disclosed.

8. Liability:
- We are not responsible for personal injuries or equipment loss during the tour.
- Participants are responsible for their own actions and agree to abide by the tour guidelines.

9. Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations:
- Participants must comply with all local laws and regulations and show respect to local customs.

10. Acceptance of Terms:
- By making a booking, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
