Day 1 – September 19, 2025 – Arrival Day*

Note: Check-in is from 03:00 PM to 12 AM but if you arrive earlier, you can still leave your luggage at the hotel and start enjoying the city at your leisure. 

Please have a VISA credit card for any room service or incidentals.

Accommodation at a 4-star hotel located close to Bari's shopping area and a 3-minute walk from the rear entrance of the train station. 

Daily Breakfast is included.  

Breakfast is scheduled every day from 7:00 am until 10 am at the Hotel restaurant 

This is a Free Day. You may explore as you choose but please plan to join me and the rest of the group for a welcome dinner with 3 courses, water, and wine.

Day 2 – September 20, 2025 - Walking Tour of Bari

Meals included: Breakfast

Excursion: Private Guided Tour of Bari

After breakfast, our private guide will meet us and lead us on a Private guided walking tour of Bari.

Our 4-hour walking tour is a journey through the ages, starting in the heart of the Old Town. As we wander through the narrow alleys, you'll be transported back in time, discovering the intricate architecture of the 12th-century Basilica di San Nicola, a masterpiece that houses the relics of the city's patron saint.

Next, we'll stroll to the grand Castello Svevo, a fortress that whispers tales of medieval knights and royal intrigues. The Swabian Castle stands proudly, offering panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, inviting you to imagine the maritime adventures that unfolded on these shores.

Our exploration continues to the charming Piazza Mercantile, a lively square where locals and visitors converge. Here, surrounded by historic buildings, you'll grasp the essence of Bari's bustling commerce and vibrant social life.

A highlight of our journey is the famous Teatro Petruzzelli, an architectural gem that has witnessed countless performances since its inauguration in 1903. Marvel at the grandeur of this opera house as we delve into its rich history, from glamorous premieres to the resilience displayed after its restoration following a tragic fire.

Our final stop takes us to the waterfront, where the Lungomare promenade beckons with stunning views of the sea. Immerse yourself in the relaxed atmosphere as we soak in the beauty of Bari's coastal charm, blending the past and present seamlessly. 

Return to our hotel and enjoy a free evening.

Day 3 – September 21, 2025 - Catamaran Cruise to Polignano A Mare

Meals included: Breakfast and Apertivo

After breakfast, our private guide will meet us at the hotel and take us on a boat excursion to Polignano a Mare (2.5 hours) with aperitif included. 

Our journey begins with a convenient coach transfer from our hotel to the dock, setting the stage for a day filled with breathtaking scenery and seaside wonders.

As we board the catamaran, a seasoned English-speaking assistant will be our guide, providing insights into the coastal marvels that unfold along the way. Feel the sea breeze on your face as we navigate the crystalline waters of the Polignano a Mare area, revealing hidden coves, limestone cliffs, and secluded grottoes.

The highlight of this excursion is a leisurely 2.5-hour catamaran ride, offering the perfect vantage point to marvel at the picturesque coastline. Immerse yourself in the stunning panoramas as we cruise through the azure waters, and don't forget to have your camera ready to capture the captivating moments.

To add a touch of local flavor to your maritime experience, indulge in a delightful "aperitivo" on board. Savor the flavors of Apulia while enjoying refreshing drinks and light bites, creating the perfect complement to the enchanting surroundings.

As the catamaran gently returns to the dock, you'll carry with you the memories of a day spent in harmony with the sea, the coastal cliffs, and the warm embrace of the Polignano a Mare region. Day 4 – September 22, 2025 - Alberobello & Ostuni

Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast, our private guide will meet us at the hotel and take us on an Exclusive excursion through Alberobello and Ostuni. You will have at least 1.5 hours of free time for yourself at each destination.

Our tour commences in Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its enchanting trulli houses. These cone-shaped architectural wonders transport you to a time when craftsmanship and creativity merged seamlessly. Wander through the intricate labyrinth of Rione Monti, discovering the secrets embedded in the unique trulli structures that grace the landscape.

Leaving behind the fairytale ambiance of Alberobello, our path leads to the ethereal "Città Bianca" of Ostuni. Perched majestically on a hill, Ostuni boasts a captivating blend of medieval charm and breathtaking panoramas overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Explore the details of the Ostuni Cathedral, a magnificent testament to Gothic architecture, and uncover the layers of history that have shaped this picturesque city.

As we navigate the winding alleys adorned with whitewashed buildings and vibrant bougainvillea, you'll be immersed in the timeless allure of Ostuni. This excursion promises not only to showcase the architectural wonders of these towns but also to provide a deeper understanding of their rich cultural tapestry.

Day 5 – September 23, 2025 - Lecce

Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast, our private driver will meet us at the hotel reception to take us on a journey to Lecce. 

Our exploration through the winding streets and sun-kissed piazzas of Lecce promises a journey through centuries of art, culture, and architectural splendor.

Begin your adventure in the heart of the historic center, where the Basilica di Santa Croce stands as a testament to the city's rich artistic heritage. Marvel at the intricately carved façade, a true masterpiece of Lecce Baroque, and let the stories of the craftsmen who shaped it come to life.

As we meander through the charming alleys, you'll encounter the Piazza del Duomo, home to the Lecce Cathedral and its elegant bell tower. The cathedral's interior reveals a wealth of artistic treasures, providing insight into the religious and cultural influences that have shaped Lecce throughout the centuries.

Continue our journey to the Roman Amphitheatre, a hidden gem nestled within the city walls. Imagine the echoes of ancient spectators as you explore this well-preserved marvel, a testament to Lecce's diverse historical tapestry.

Wander through the Piazza Sant'Oronzo, where the iconic Roman column and the impressive Sedile showcase the city's ability to blend ancient and Baroque elements seamlessly. As you stroll along, soak in the lively atmosphere of this vibrant square, surrounded by cafes and boutiques.

Our Lecce adventure concludes in the beautiful Giardino Comunale, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Here, amid lush greenery and sculptures, you'll find a moment of tranquility to reflect on the beauty and history that define Lecce.
