The Essence Festival turns 31 next year and it will be EPIC!!! Guaranteed.

The Essence Festival, known as “the party with a purpose”, is an annual music festival which started in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence, a magazine aimed primarily towards African-American women with approximately 500,000 women and men attending this event each year.

I've been attending this amazing festival for over 7 years and bringing groups for 6 years.

We were lucky enough to experience two milestone anniversaries, the 25th & 30th. This festival does not disappoint.

There are three main elements to EMF.

1.) The Convention centre hosts vendors and lots of events. This is typically where you get all the freebies and see celebs.

2.) The Concerts - 3 nights of concerts featuring different headliners. Note: this booking includes a ticket to the Saturday night concert only

3.) The Parties & Pop-up Shops - there is an entire world happening outside the convention centre. Tons of free/paid parties to choose from as well as pop-up shops featuring beauty and clothing vendors.

Honestly, you are not going to see or do it all even if you stayed up around the clock, but enjoying it YOUR way is all that matters.

Saturday Night concert ticket (lowest priced category)
Free access to the convention centre activities
Airport Transfers - Note: there will be one pick-up and drop off for the airport. If you travel outside the established time, you are responsible for your own transfers.

Refundable Incidentals fee - charged by Hotel (approx. $100 per room). Refunded if no damage is done to room.

This booking is 100% non-refundable. All payments are non-refundable.

Final Payment is due May 1, 2025. The property reserves the right to cancel the room for non payment.

Late payments will be assessed a fee of $20 per instance.

The room contains 2 Queen Beds and accommodate max. 4 guests. Personally, I think more than 2 people per room is tight especially with 1 bathroom, but you can definitely have up to 4 persons per room.
