Afro-Latino Culture Trip

This trip will be an experience of a lifetime navigating this amazingly beautiful city & country.

Our guide will be taking us off the beaten path into places we wouldn't be able to go to and experience on our own. We will see things and experience the Afro-Latino culture in ways most tourists will never get the chance while eating local dishes at black-owned restaurants and experiencing the true Afro-Panamanian culture.

As a voluntourism initiative, each year we donate black dolls and kids' books with melanated characters in Spanish because of the lack of representation down in Panama.

Itinerary: Subject to change and adjust

Day 1: Jan 15th
After arriving at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama you will be met by one of our drivers and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take the rest of the day to unwind at your leisure after your flight while allowing your body to acclimate to the temperature. Later we will have our Welcome Dinner.

    
Day 2: Jan 16th
After breakfast, we will be picked up and head out with our local tour guide for the Afro-Panama City/Panama Canal tour.  We will not only tour the city's major sites but also the off-the-beaten-path sites for an amazing experience most travelers don’t get when visiting Panama City.
*Lunch provided at a local Afro-Panamanian eatery.

Day 3: Jan 17th
We will escape Panama City to our catamaran for a day of boating, and swimming.

Onboard the catamaran:

*One stop to swim
*One stop at the beach 
*Open Bar
*Dancing and Activities
 
Day 4: Jan 18th 
Will be your "free day" to chill out and relax, or do whatever you like. 
If you would like to do a day trip to San Blas Island that's an option. Pick-up is normally around 5:30 am

Day 5: Jan 19th
After breakfast, we will depart for the Afro-Latino tour in Portobello which will be an all-day event and we will be bringing the books & dolls for donation.
*Lunch will be provided.

Day 6: Jan 20th
After breakfast, your scheduled transportation will take you to the airport for your flight home.

Cancellation policy:
Deposits will be refunded upon request 72 hours after the trip has been booked.
After 72 hours of booking, no refunds or deposits will be given unless the trip is canceled due to COVID-19 or civil unrest issues. 

This trip is NOT for you if:

♦ If you love to complain a lot and don't have patience. Traffic and weather can be unpredictable at times and we have to adjust.

♦ If you hate minor changes or adjustments, stepping outside of your comfort zone in countries where the USA standards aren't always available.

♦ If you're always late and don't like some early mornings. You are subject to getting left if you can't respect other people's time. 

♦ If you don't like being around other people and feel it's ok to disrespect anyone because that's just how you are.

♦ If you feel like you don't have to respect other cultures or religions.

We only promote positivity in our community, along with brotherhood and sisterhood on our trips.
We don't do drama and petty in our community.
