Come join The Energy Angel for an adventurous group wellness experience in the Bahamas. De-stress, wind down, or turn up! Relax onboard the Carnival Sunshine, participate in daily fitness classes, enjoy spa treatments, or explore the beaches & rich cultural history of Freeport, Nassau & Bimini, Bahamas.

Your well-deserved retreat begins long before departure. Enhance your health and wellness by taking advantage of the Energy Angel Wellness Experience. Adult travelers are eligible for a comprehensive Nutrition Assessment, a personalized nutrition plan, and one(1) month of nutrition and fitness coaching (app is included). Get to know your coaches & fellow travelers by utilizing a private vacation app. Before departure, the app will serve as digital access to the itinerary, an information hub, and a place to connect.

Fitness classes are included with your package but aren’t required. If you need to fully escape during the retreat, simply relax in your room, explore the ship, get a spa treatment, and skip the fitness classes. This retreat is designed to enhance your overall health and wellness.

We are pleased to have Keepunchin & TaiLife join us on the fitness itinerary for this retreat.

Your minimum deposit of $250 per person(double occupancy) and $500 (single occupancy) is due upon booking your cabin.

You will receive a payment plan invoice once your deposit is paid.

Itinerary:

Day 1:

Arrive at Norfolk, VA’s Port to board the Carnival Sunshine- which departs at 5:00 p.m.

Get settled, explore the ship & enjoy an Energy Angel welcome reception.

Day 2:

Fun Day at Sea. It’s a great time to explore your ship and its exciting entertainment, food, and activities! Or take it easy at the pool, spa, or... if you book a room with a balcony, enjoy the waves. We’ll start the retreat day with an early morning session of Ab Attack & Tai Chi.

Day 3:

Freeport 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Work up a sweat with HIIT & Sculpt and Kickboxing on the ultimate white-sand beach of Freeport. The crystalline-water daydream comes to life. The action is sizzling in Freeport, the resort center of Grand Bahama Island. You’ll find plenty of razzle-dazzle entertainment, from a casino to music clubs to barefoot beach bars. If that’s the Bahamas you’ve come for, great! But if you’re looking for the Bahamas with the seductive, palm-fringed beaches, gentle turquoise seas, and nature at its most vivid… Freeport has that, too.

Day 4:

Nassau 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Sightseeing, swimming, and soaking up the island flavor! Boasting balmy breezes and jumping to a bouncy calypso beat, Nassau promises sizzling fun in the sun. The historic and cultural heart of The Bahamas is one of the world’s most popular cruise destinations — one million travelers board cruises to Nassau every year. Carnival guests come for fine beaches, shopping, water sports, and fun-filled attractions at the Atlantis Resort, connected to Nassau by a bridge to Paradise Island. Throw in a chance to swim with dolphins or do a little slipping and sliding at a water park, and it's clear what makes Nassau a top spot for cruisers of all ages.

Day 5:

Bimini 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Soak up some sun & dance on the beach! Join the Energy Angel crew for an upbeat dance fitness party. Start your day by dancing with music from around the world. The best reggaeton, salsa, merengue, cumbia, afro-beats, urban, and more. After a bit of dance fitness, slow things down with Tai Chi. Are there words more fun to say than “I’m cruising to Bimini!”? The name rolls off the tongue delightfully, for sure… but the whole phrase means you’re in for a beautiful, uniquely chill time in this island chain. The center of the action is Alice Town, though “action” is relative when it comes to these westernmost islands of The Bahamas. The local aesthetics, however, will take your breath away — and fishing, diving, and relaxing on a beach are a few of the choice activities for experiencing the naturally azure waters surrounding Bimini, which are great to enjoy from a distance or up close!

Day 6:

Fun Day at Sea

After all the delicious food you’ve enjoyed by now, you’ll appreciate our Ab Attack class. No port visit today! It’s a great time to explore your ship and its exciting entertainment and activities! Or take it easy at the pool, spa, or... if you book a room with a balcony, enjoy the waves. Don’t forget to pack something white for our epic Energy Angel Wellness Retreat Farewell White Party onboard the ship for our final night!

Day 7:

Arrive in Norfolk at 8:00 a.m.

Cancellation Policy and Credit Card Authorization:

Group Booking-Double-occupancy (only): Deposits are fully refundable if canceled within the schedule below and that are not booked through a special program. Your minimum deposit of $250 per person(double occupancy) and $500 (single occupancy) is due upon booking your cabin. All reserved rooms are first come first served. A credit card authorization form must be signed to process payments and the waiver insurance agreement if declining insurance. Final payments are due no later than *75 days before the first day of the cruise start date. Final payments for this cruise must be made no later than January 16, 2025.

Carnival's Cancellation Policy:

If you are canceling your booking prior to your final payment, there is no penalty to cancel unless you have booked a specific promotion with a non-refundable deposit and/or fare. For cruises 5 days or less, the final payment date is 76 days prior to sailing and for cruises 6 days or more, the final payment date is 91 days prior to sailing.

Guests who have made reservations for multiple occupancy cabins (for example for three, four, or five persons) are subject to the cancellation charges and schedule below for the entire cabin reservation, even if the guest does not cancel their individual reservation and even if the names of all persons to be in the same cabin as the guest are not provided at the time of booking. Guests whose embarkation is denied under related to background checks and/or conduct are also subject to the cancellation schedule below as are guests who have made bookings as part of the same travelling party as a guest who is denied embarkation related to background checks and/or conduct. For further details, please consult your Cruise Ticket Contract.

Solo travelers are usually booked under a special program or fare to reduce their deposit unless they can pay their full deposit amount under the group rate. By agreeing to book with Carnival Cruise Line (Carnival) through Midnight Skies Travels, LLC, d/b/a MS Travels, you understand that:

The following promotions have a non-refundable deposit and/or fare at the time of booking and will be penalized as such. Within our standard cancellation penalty period, regular penalties will apply.

Early Saver: The deposit is non-refundable at any time after the booking is made. All cancellations that occur prior to the final payment due date will receive a non-refundable and non-transferable future cruise credit in US dollars in the amount of the deposit less a $50 USD per person service fee. The future cruise credit must be used on a new booking made within 12 months from the date of cancellation and can only be applied to your cruise fare. Any unused portion will be forfeited.
Super Saver: The deposit is non-refundable at any time after the booking is made.
Pack & Go: 100% of Total Fare is non-refundable any time after the booking is made.

Once your booking is within our cancellation penalty period, the amount of penalty will increase as the cruise departure approaches. When calculating the days prior to sailing, the day of sailing should not be considered as one of the days. The day of sailing is considered the first day of the cruise:

From the final payment date to 56 days prior to sailing, the penalty is the standard deposit amount.
From 55 days prior to sailing to 30 days prior to sailing, the penalty is 50% of the total fare or the standard deposit amount, whichever is greater.
From 29 to15 days prior to sailing, the penalty is 75% of the total fare or the standard deposit amount, whichever is greater.
From 14 days prior to sailing to the day of your cruise, the penalty is 100%* of the total fare.
No refunds will be made if you do not show up for your cruise or if you interrupt or cancel your vacation once it has begun.

The total fare is defined as Cruise Fare, Transfer Services, Pre/Post Cruise Vacation Packages and Fly2Fun Air (please note that Fly2Fun Restricted Air which is non-refundable at time of booking).
Note: For full 100% penalties, the refund will only include: Taxes, Fees and Port Expenses and Optional Prepaid Gratuities.

If you have purchased Carnival's Fly2Fun air, please note the following as it pertains to the cancellation of the air portion of your booking:

Flexible Air: Air is refundable outside of 60 days prior to sailing. Applicable penalties apply to changes made within 60 days.
Restricted Air: Air is non-refundable at time of booking.

For guests booked directly with Carnival: To check and see if your booking is subject to a cancellation penalty, login to your carnival.com profile. Under the 'My Cruise Details' section, click on the 'Is there a penalty for canceling this booking' link.

For guests booked through a travel agent/advisor: Please contact your travel advisor directly to see if your booking is subject to a cancellation penalty.

Confirm with your travel agent the program you are booked before authorizing your payments on your invoice.
