Itinerary:


June 8, 2027--Depart the United States
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as
you travel to start your vacation.

 

Day1---June 9, 2027


After landing at Reykjavik Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your tour director will welcome you to
Iceland and escort you and your luggage to the coach.
Breakfast at Local Venue
Stop to have breakfast with your group at a local venue.
Reykjavik Orientation Tour
Set off on a sightseeing tour around Reykjavik, which is a city full of life and culture. While on your tour, see the vibrant city
center, wonderful monuments and the popular waterfront area that offers amazing view of Mt. Esja.

Overnight: Reykjavík Hotel Saga
Enjoy your stay at this elegant 4-star hotel located in the city center and it is a short walk from a lot of the city's main
attractions. It's located on a historic street, but the design of the building itself is modern, featuring boutique rooms. The
has a restaurant, two terraces, a gym, and a spa should you chose to make use of the hotel's amenities.

Day 2---June 10, 2026 


Kerid Crater
Visit the spectacular Kerið, a volcanic crater lake in the Grímsnes area of South Iceland, along the Golden Circle. It is 180-
feet deep and approximately 3,000 years old.

Fridheimar Tomato Farm
Head to Fridheimar Tomato Farm to enjoy a tasty light lunch with your group in the greenhouse.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Along the Golden Circle, stop at Gullfoss (meaning "golden") Waterfall, one of the most popular tourist attractions in all of
Iceland. Flowing in the river Hvítá straight from Langjökull glacier, this waterfall has two separate drops with the largest falls
in all of Europe in terms of water volume.

Strokkur Geysir
View Strokkur Geysir, Iceland’s most active geyser, which sprays hot water and steam into the air every 10 minutes. You
might have the opportunity to witness this spectacular display of geothermal power.

Thingvellir National Park
Discover Thingvellir (Þingvellir) National Park along the Golden Circle. This UNESCO World Heritage site has historical
and geological significance. It is known for the Althingi, the first meeting site of Iceland's parliament around 930. The park
also sits in a rift valley with rocky cliffs and fissures caused by the separation of the Eurasian and North American tectonic
plates.

Hvammsvik Hot Springs
Journey to Hvammsvik Hot Springs for some time to relax in their unique natural hot springs, surrounded by majestic
mountains and black sand beaches.

Day 3---- June 11, 2027 

Lava Tunnel Tour
A journey into Raufarhólshellir is a unique experience and a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic
eruption as one walks in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll
mountains about 5200 years ago. Every winter spectacular ice sculptures are formed inside the entrance of the cave
making the experience of visiting the lava tunnel even more breathtaking.

Horse Back Riding
Set off on a horseback riding adventure on an Icelandic horse! This tour is ideal for beginners and will allow you to enjoy
the beauty of Iceland's stunning scenery while getting to know these wonderful creatures.

Dinner at Hotel
This evening, gather with your group to enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Dinner & Overnight: Hotel Loa, Hvolsvollur
Check-in for your stay at Hotel Loa in Hvolsvöllur, which opened in July 2025 and offers modern, Nordic-style rooms
designed for comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy an on-site restaurant and bar, free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour front desk.


Day 4---June 12, 2027

Thórsmörk Valley
Thorsmork is a nature reserve in the southern Icelandic highlands. It is one of the country's most popular hiking
destinations and a prime location for photographers and nature lovers.

Named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder, Thorsmork is truly a sight to behold. Nestled between gigantic glaciers, this
nature reserve offers an intimate experience with diverse Icelandic landscapes. With hidden waterfalls and breathtaking
panoramic views, a visit to Thorsmork is something you're unlikely to forget.

Packed Lunch
Enjoy a packed lunch with your group as you explore Thórsmörk Valley.

Day 5---June 13, 2027


South Shore Tour
Embark on the South Shore Tour, which is perfect for nature lovers of all ages. See some of the flattest scenery on the
island, which is perfect for grain farms as you travel along the coast.

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
Journey to the beautiful Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, a narrow but high waterfall plunging over the mountainside of West
Eyjafjöll. A path lies at the bottom of the cliff where it cascades down, offering the opportunity to walk behind the fall.

Skogafoss Waterfall
Visit the stunning Skogafoss Waterfall. At 197 feet tall, it is one of the most powerful waterfalls in the country. You can even
walk to the top of the fall and see it from the highest point, and a double rainbow is often visible on sunny days.

Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, located on the South Coast of Iceland, is one of the country’s most iconic natural
landmarks. Known for its striking black volcanic sand and basalt columns, Reynisfjara attracts thousands of visitors each
year. Its rugged landscape makes it a must-visit location for anyone traveling along Iceland’s South Coast.
ATTENTION: Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, stay away from the water's edge at all times. Freak waves are common here.

Vik Free Time
Spend some time in Vik, Iceland's southernmost village. Vik is neighbored by glaciers on one side and black sand beaches
on the other. After exploring the natural wonders around Vik, feel free to explore the village.

Dinner at Hotel
Tonight, meet your group in the hotel restaurant for dinner.

Day 6---June 14, 2027

Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands)
Set off on a short ferry ride to Vestmannaeyjar, the amazing Westman Islands, located on the south coast of Iceland.

Heimaey
Stop to visit the fascinating island of Heimaey, the largest of the Westman Islands and the only one that is inhabited.
Embark on an orientation tour to see the highlights of the Island.

Eldheimar Museum
Visit the Eldheimar Museum, which tells the history of one of Iceland’s biggest natural disasters, the 1973 eruption that
forced all residence to evacuate the island. The island is nicknamed “Pompeii of the North” as the eruption buried
approximately four-hundred houses under ash.
Dinner at Local Venue
In the evening, join your fellow travelers for dinner at a local venue.

Day7---June 15, 2027


Reykjavik at Leisure
Enjoy the day free to explore Reykjavik on your own. You might like to visit the National Museum of Iceland, the Volcano
House, the Aurora Reykjavik Museum or the Grotta Lighthouse. Or perhaps, you may like to visit the Viking Maritime
Museum, Reykjavik City Hall, the statue of Leif Eiriksson or the Eimverk Distillery. This evening, you might like to dine in
one of the many dinner venues that Reykjavik has to offer.

Day 8---June 16, 2027

Reykjavik Departure
All too soon, your vacation in Iceland has come to an end. Transfer to Reykjavik Airport in plenty of time to check in for your
flight. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty-free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the
United States.
