Flights and Transfers

Please book flights into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

Arrival Date: July 9, 2027
Recommended arrival window: By 4:00 PM

Departure Date: July 13, 2027
Recommended departure: After 11:00 AM

Once your flights are secured, please email your full itinerary to travelingchucksinc@gmail.com to coordinate your transfer. Flights booked outside of the recommended arrival and departure windows may result in additional transfer costs.

Passport & Entry Requirements

A valid US passport is required for this experience, including for minors. Travelers are responsible for verifying passport validity, visa requirements, and entry regulations for the Dominican Republic. Many international destinations require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.

For the most up-to-date international travel information, please visit https://travel.state.gov prior to travel. The Traveling Chucks is not responsible for denied boarding due to improper documentation.

If a child is traveling without both parents, additional documentation may be required.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for this experience and should include trip cancellation, medical coverage, and emergency evacuation benefits. Investment & Payment Terms 

A $75 per person non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Please select your package carefully at time of booking to ensure all occupants are accounted for.

A  monthly payment plan will be provided following deposit confirmation. Due to strict supplier guidelines, if two or more monthly payments are missed, your reservation will be subject to cancellation. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this trip really suitable for all ages?
Yes. This experience is intentionally designed for grandparents, parents, teens, and littles. We build in structured group time and free time so every generation can enjoy the trip their way. Please ensure you add the full name and date of birth for every guest occupying your room on the registration form.

Will there be activities specifically for kids?
Yes. The resort offers kid-friendly amenities, pools, and activities. We also highlight optional experiences that work well for younger travelers. Parents remain responsible for supervision at all times.

How are rooms assigned for families?
Room categories and maximum occupancy are listed in each room category below. If you need connecting rooms, specific bedding, or a larger suite, note it during booking. Requests are submitted but not guaranteed. Bedding requests are not guaranteed.

What if some family members want to arrive early or stay longer?
That’s completely fine. Pre- and post-nights can often be added based on availability. Please email travelingchucksinc@gmail.com before booking so we can price it correctly.

Can we customize excursions for just our family group?
Yes. While the trip includes core group elements, private excursions for individual family units can often be arranged at an additional cost.

How do payments work for large families?
It is best to have one family representative manage the monthly payments. However, if you need individual invoices, please notate that on the registration form. Deposits secure your space.

What if someone in our family has mobility concerns?
Please disclose mobility needs before booking. We will confirm whether the resort and planned activities are appropriate and suggest accommodations when possible.

Can we celebrate a birthday or milestone during the trip?
We LOVE a good celebration. Let us know in advance so we can explore celebration add-ons or coordinate with the resort.

What documents are required for children?
All travelers must have a valid US passport, including minors. If a child is traveling without both parents, additional documentation may be required.
