Hosted by Sherry Taylor, owner of Smalls Mini Mall, and curated in partnership with Gwiin Correa of Memorable Moments Travel, this workshop is designed for makers, dreamers, and curious creatives of all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to miniatures or a seasoned enthusiast, you’ll find joy in slowing down, creating with intention, and connecting with fellow travelers who share your passion.

Your journey begins in beautiful Vancouver, one of the most scenic cruise departure cities in the world. After arriving at Canada Place Cruise Terminal, you'll board the ship and begin settling into your home at sea.

Spend the afternoon exploring the ship, enjoying ocean views, and getting acquainted with the spaces where the week’s creativity and camaraderie will unfold.

In the evening, guests gather for casual introductions and conversation as excitement builds for the Miniature Workshop at Sea experience ahead.

🎨 Day 2 — At Sea | Miniature Workshop at Sea

            

Today is dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship, and connection at sea.

Guests gather for the Miniature Workshop at Sea, where participants build their miniature step-by-step while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere onboard with ocean views, if applicable.

Throughout the workshop, participants:

• Assemble their miniature scene
• Learn construction and finishing techniques
• Share inspiration and creative ideas
• Capture photos of their creations and the creative process

The workshop is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and supportive, making it enjoyable for both beginners and experienced miniaturists.

By the end of the session, each guest will have created a beautiful miniature keepsake and shared a memorable creative experience at sea.

This morning the ship arrives in Los Angeles.

After breakfast, guests will begin the disembarkation process as directed by the ship. Transfers or onward travel arrangements can be coordinated according to individual travel plans.

The Miniature Workshop @ Sea registration fee is NONREFUNDABLE once paid.
This fee secures your workshop space and covers advance planning, materials, and hosting costs.
This fee is separate from the cruise fare and applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

🚢 Cruise Cancellation (Royal Caribbean Policy Applies)

  • All cruise cancellations are subject to Royal Caribbean International’s published cancellation schedule.

  • In addition to cruise line penalties, a $25 per person administrative cancellation fee will be charged for any cruise cancellation.

  • Cancellations made after Royal Caribbean’s specified deadlines may result in partial or complete forfeiture of cruise fare, depending on timing.

This instructor-led workshop is designed for all skill levels, whether you’re brand new to miniatures or a seasoned maker. In a relaxed and supportive setting, you’ll build and decorate your own detailed miniature project while enjoying the calming rhythm of life at sea.

Participants will work in a 1/2 scale and will choose one of three charming miniature designs:

  • Cornwall Cottage – A sweet, storybook-style cottage featuring hand-painted stonework, soft French blue trim for a classic, charming touch, and a rustic shingle roof that embraces a perfectly imperfect cottage vibe.

  • Santorini Villa – Inspired by the iconic Cycladic style, this villa showcases crisp white walls accented with Aegean blue details, capturing the timeless beauty and simplicity of Santorini.

  • Abeille House is a charming 1/2 scale miniature conservatory-style structure featuring elegant French doors and a dramatic open-frame roof that floods the interior with light. Inside, the tiled fireplace surround makes it feel warm and cozy, creating an inviting space that’s perfect for intimate miniature gatherings or seasonal displays.
