IMPORTANT MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Travelers should consider:
-Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines; 
-Typhoid vaccine for visits to smaller cities or rural areas;
-Routine vaccines including Measles; 
-Yellow Fever vaccination is not recommended for all areas above 2300 meters, the city of Cuzco, the capital city of Lima, Machu Picchu, and the Inca Trail. Yellow Fever vaccination is generally not recommended for travelers whose itineraries are limited to the following areas west of the Andes: the regions of Lambayeque and Tumbes, the designated areas of western Piura and the south, west, and central Cajamarca. Additional vaccine recommendations may apply. Consult your healthcare provider and check the source for details before making your booking deposit.  If you complete your booking and are unable to travel due to inability to get the necessary vaccines, or due to the ineffectiveness of the vaccines, you will not be entitled to a refund.  Your travel insurance provider may not necessarily consider the inability to get proper vaccinations before travel to be a covered reason for trip cancellation.  
 

The Fine Print:

  • Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee plus all non-refundable Inca permits and any other non-refundable paid fees upon booking (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary 
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client. 
  • Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
