Mystery Trip Terms & Conditions

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Submission of payment constitutes a legally binding agreement.

1. 🎯 Mystery Trip Acknowledgment

• This is a mystery experience
• The destination will be revealed approximately 1 week prior to departure
• The destination may be a place you have visited before or currently live in
• By booking, you acknowledge and accept this and understand the experience is based on the curation, group, and activities, not just the location

2. 💳 Booking & Payment Terms

• A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot
• The remaining balance must be paid in monthly installments until paid in full
• Failure to make payments may result in automatic cancellation without refund
• Reinstatement is not guaranteed
• All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable

3. 💰 Billing Disclosure

Charges may appear from:

• Traces of Sunlight Travel (planning, hosting, curation)
• Third-party vendors (activities, transportation, etc.)

By submitting payment, you:

• Authorize all charges
• Acknowledge multiple merchant names may appear
• Agree not to dispute valid charges

Unauthorized chargebacks will result in removal and possible legal action.

4. 🏨 Hotel Policy

• Hotel is paid directly by you at check-in
• You are responsible for:
  • Room selection
  • Payment method
  • Damages and incidental charges

Traces of Sunlight Travel is not responsible for:

• Hotel service
• Cleanliness
• Staff
• Policies

5. 🧾 Roommate Policy

• Roommate pairing and agreements are the responsibility of travelers
• Payment splitting must be handled independently
• Traces of Sunlight Travel is not involved in roommate financial arrangements
• If a roommate cancels, the remaining traveler is responsible for the full room cost

6. 💳 Hotel Incidentals

• A $100 per night hold ($300 total) is required
• This is a temporary hold, not a charge
• Refunds may take several business days after checkout

7. ✈️ Flights Policy

• Flights are not included in the package price
• Flights will be booked on your behalf
• You will receive flight time options for flexibility
• You may pay in full or use a payment plan

• All flight payments are non-refundable
• Any increases are the traveler’s responsibility

8. 🧾 Name Accuracy Requirement

• Your name must match your government-issued ID exactly
• Any corrections are the traveler’s responsibility
• Fees associated with changes are not covered

• All activities are pre-selected and non-exchangeable
• No substitutions, credits, or refunds for unused portions

10. 🚐 Transportation Disclaimer

• Transportation is provided for convenience
• Not responsible for delays, accidents, or missed activities

11. ⏰ Timeliness Policy

• All guests must be on time
• Missed activities due to lateness = no refund

12. 🍸 Alcohol & Behavior Policy

• Alcohol, music, dancing, and adult language may be present
• Guests are responsible for their behavior
• Disruptive conduct may result in removal without refund

13. 🤝 Group Harmony Clause

• Respect and positive energy are required
• Disruptive individuals may be removed without refund

14. 🚶🏾‍♀️ Physical Activity Disclaimer

• This trip includes walking and active experiences
• You are responsible for your physical ability

15. 🌦️ Weather & Itinerary Changes

• Itinerary may change due to circumstances beyond control
• No refunds for adjustments

16. 🎒 Personal Responsibility

• You are responsible for belongings and punctuality
• No refunds for missed experiences

17. 👜 Packing Responsibility

• Packing guidance will be provided
• You are responsible for packing appropriately

18. 📱 Communication Clause

• Updates will be sent via email and/or group chat
• You are responsible for staying informed

19. 📸 Photo & Media Release

• Participation grants permission for media use
• Opt-out must be submitted in writing

20. 🤝 Third-Party Vendor Disclaimer

• Traces of Sunlight Travel is a coordinator
• Not responsible for vendor performance

21. 🚫 No Refund for Dissatisfaction

No refunds will be issued for:

• Personal preferences
• Expectations
• Group dynamics

22. 🛑 Right to Modify Experience

• Overall experience value will remain consistent

23. 🚫 No Outside Bookings

• All participants must book through Traces of Sunlight Travel
• Outside bookings are not permitted for participation

24. 🧠 Personal & Emotional Responsibility

• Guests are responsible for their emotional well-being
• This is a group experience with varied personalities

25. ⚖️ Liability Release

You release Traces of Sunlight Travel from liability for:

• Injury
• Illness
• Theft
• Delays
• Dissatisfaction

Participation is at your own risk.

26. ⚖️ Dispute Resolution

• Must be handled in writing first
• Arbitration in Florida
• No class action or jury trial

27. 🌍 Force Majeure

Not responsible for:

• Weather
• Government actions
• Travel disruptions
• Vendor cancellations
