IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTES

  • This trip is priced based on double occupancy. We strongly encourage you to sign up with a friend to ensure your preferred roommate and to guarantee your space. At this early stage of building our Go There Women community, we are not equipped to reliably match solo travelers. While we’ll do our best to connect any solo participants who request a roommate, we cannot make any guarantees.
    • While two beds per room have been requested, we cannot guarantee the hotels will provide that configuration. Please note we will do all we can to adjust as needed; however, please be prepared for the possibility of a shared/king bed. This is due to our careful selection of hotels that will have limitations to bedding configurations in this high-demand time of travel.
  • Participants must be able to walk several miles per day, navigate stairs, and carry their luggage (including lifting bags onto train racks and complying with luggage limitations per the rail carrier).
  • The Christmas Markets will be lovely, but busy. Be prepared for crowds and a considerable amount of time outdoors in wintry conditions.
  • While daily group experiences are offered, there is also free time to explore independently. If you opt out of a group activity, there is no price reduction.
  • As rail travel is our mode of inter-Europe travel, you will need to handle all your luggage and stay within the weight and size requirements, which will be provided upon booking the rail tickets, usually 2-6 months before travel dates.
    • It is recommended that you pack as lightly as possible.
    • Missed rail departures must be rebooked at the traveler’s expense and are subject to availability.
  • A Passport with six months' validity is recommended, though at least three months' validity beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen area is required. Two blank passport pages are required for an entry stamp into Austria.
  • Travelers flying through the UK will be required to complete the UK ETA (Electronic Travel Application).
  • Czech Republic currency is the Czech koruna, or crown; Austrian currency is the Euro;  Hungarian currency is the Hungarian Forint.

A NOTE FOR SOLO TRAVELERS
