Itinerary Overview
Dates: May 15–21, 2026
Destinations: Nairobi & Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 1 to 3 (Friday–Sunday, May 15–17, 2026): Nairobi

Arrival & Transfer: You will be transferred from Nairobi Airport to Ole Sereni Hotel (approx. 20 mins).

Accommodation: Ole Sereni Hotel, Nairobi
- Located near Nairobi National Park with modern amenities, restaurants, bars, and a terrace with stunning views.

Activities:
- Visit a children’s orphanage
- Traditional Kenyan cooking class
- Visit a local village and learn about Kikuyu cultural traditions
- Visit Gikuyu elders to gain deeper cultural insights

- Day 1: No meals included
- Day 2: Breakfast
- Day 3: Breakfast & Lunch
Day 4 to 6 (Monday–Wednesday, May 18–20, 2026): Masai Mara National Reserve

Transfer: Travel from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stop at Rift Valley Viewpoint (approx. 5–6 hours).

- A luxury tented camp inside the Masai Mara with fine dining, a well-stocked bar, and professional service.

- Afternoon: Visit Maasai Village to experience local culture and customs

- Early Morning: Guided game drive for a chance to spot big cats, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and more
- Midday: Massage at Zebra Plains Mara Camp
- Evening: Themed dinner at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, followed by a sunset sundowner experience

Terms & Conditions
1. Payment Plan
- A monthly payment plan is mandatory for all bookings.
- The first three payments are strictly non-refundable, and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- Remaining payments made after the initial three are refundable up until the final payment date.
- Starting from March 15, 2026 , all payments become 100% non-refundable.
2. Name Changes
- Any changes to the name on the reservation will incur a fee of $100. This fee applies per change made.
- It is essential to ensure that your booking details match your official travel documents to avoid any issues.
3. Late Payments
- An additional fee of $50 will be charged for each month the account remains overdue.
- If two consecutive payments are missed, the reservation will be automatically canceled, and all prior payments will be forfeited without exceptions.
4. Occupancy Changes
- If there is a change from double occupancy to solo occupancy due to one guest canceling, the canceling guest will not receive a refund for any payments made.
- The remaining solo occupant will be liable for the single occupancy rate applicable at the time their travel partner cancels.
5. Service Charges
- All service charges associated with booking through Travel Joy are to be borne by the client.
6. Credit Card Fees
- A mandatory convenience fee will be applied to payments made via credit card or bank transfer, with the bank transfer fee being lower.
- This fee is charged by the credit card processing company, not by Surreal Journeys Travel. The total fee will be displayed on your invoice and will be evenly distributed across all your payments.
7. Roommate Policy
- Before booking, please carefully consider your roommate’s financial commitment and travel plans.
- Should your roommate cancel or be removed from the booking due to non-payment, your reservation will be updated to the higher single occupancy rate.
- A $100 fee will be charged for any name changes on the reservation due to such circumstances.
8. Registration
- Please ensure that your reservation is made using the full name as it appears on your U.S. Passport.
- Any name changes or corrections post-booking will attract a fee of $100. Accuracy during registration helps avoid these charges and travel inconveniences.
9. Travel Insurance
- While travel insurance is not obligatory, it is highly recommended. It provides essential protection against unforeseen events that may affect your travel plans.
10. Cancellations
- To cancel your booking, please send an email directly to Surreal Journeys Travel at surrealjourneystravel@gmail.com.
- Ensure you receive and retain cancellation confirmation for your records.
