When traveling to South Africa, passengers must ensure their passport has at least two entirely blank (unstamped) visa pages for entry into the country. This means that each visa page must be completely free of any stamps or endorsements, with one side of the page available for a stamp.
For travelers continuing on to neighboring countries such as Zimbabwe and/or Botswana, an additional two blank visa pages are required, bringing the total number of blank visa pages needed to four.
It's important to note that these blank pages must be separate from any endorsement or amendment pages at the back of the passport. South African government regulations strictly prohibit airlines from boarding passengers who do not have the required number of blank visa pages, so it's essential to check your passport before traveling to avoid any issues at the airport.
