What Travel Documents Do I Need to Bring?

U.S. Citizens

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even if Online Check-in is completed, it is still the guest's responsibility to present required travel documents. Carnival does not assume responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.

Highly Recommended: All guests should travel with a passport book valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel.

U.S. Domestic Cruises (Same Start and End U.S. Port)

Acceptable WHTI-compliant documents:

  • U.S. Passport Book or Card

  • State Enhanced Driver's License

  • Certificate of U.S. Naturalization

  • Native American Indian Card

  • Government-issued Birth Certificate + Government-issued Photo ID
