All payments made to Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes travel concierge fees, planning fees, cancellation and change fees. 
 
All Payments made to our Travel partners are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise noted. For example, Group rates are normally refundable unless cancellation is made during the cancellation penalty period pictured above. It is advised to purchase Travel insurance or Travel protection to protect your investment and unwanted expenses that could arise during your trip. For example, medical expenses due to an illness, accident or emergency evacuation as your US medical coverage will most likely not cover medical expenses that occur in a foreign country while on a cruise. 
 
Travel Insurance:
Missing a vacation is bad enough, losing your money that you paid for said vacation is something else.  Your insurance premium is based on the cost of your trip and covers you during the entire travel process.   • Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and Royal Caribbean International Terms and conditions.   • Gratuities for the Crew is not included but can be added/paid before the cruise or onboard the cruise.
  • Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport or travel documents. Names on invoice or booking form must match passport or travel documents.
  • Reservations not paid in full by final payment due date will be cancelled and monies may be forfeited since the Cruise line would automatically cancel the reservation and the reservation may fall within the cruise lines cancellation penalties.
  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have the proper travel documents. All travel documents are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. For questions regarding the documents required please contact the cruise line directly or visit the travel.state.gov website for the best and accurate information.
  • Passengers are responsible for checking their eligibility to travel and should consult with their attorney if they have any questions about whether or not they will be able to cruise. You understand that you will be held liable if your cruise booking is cancelled due to failing a screening policy. A guest screening/criminal background check for persons convicted of felonies involving aggravated physical and/or sexual assault, armed robbery and related offenses, and other violent crimes is conducted for the safety of other travelers and staff members. The cruise line may deny boarding to guests with these felonies on their records. No background checks will be performed by the cruise line until a guest has booked a cruise. 
  • Passengers are responsible for checking the travel.state.gov website for any travel advisories that could affect their decision to travel before booking and before departure. 
  • Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. 
  • In the event of strikes, lockouts, riots, weather conditions or mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason whatsoever, Royal Caribbean® may, at any time and without prior notice, cancel, advance, postpone or deviate from any scheduled sailing or port of call and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another ship or port of call and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to guests by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, deviation or substitution. Royal Caribbean® shall not be responsible for any failure to adhere to the arrival and departure times published in this brochure for any of its ports of call.

    While every effort will be made to adhere to the specifics shown herein for a cruise, circumstances may necessitate changes or deviations therefrom. All schedules, itinerary destinations, hours of arrival and departure, hotel and/or conveyances and other aspects of Cruisetour programs are subject to change without prior notice. Neither Royal Caribbean® nor any affiliated party shall be required to refund any portion of fare or other charges or make any compensation under these circumstances.

  • You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely payments. Please note that certain rules will apply if the occupancy changes for a cabin at any time.  For example, there is 2 in the cabin but one is cancelling and 1 is still going.
  • Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante is not responsible for denied entry to a country for any reason. 
  • There is a non-refundable and non-transferable travel concierge fee of $24.99 per cabin that is charged by Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante which has been included in the required Deposit amount per cabin. (Our normal fee as of 1/25/2024 starts at $50 per person but we have chosen to still offer this group our previous rate as a discount). Please note that a 3% processing fee will apply. This amount is not covered by Travel insurance. You may receive a simple email receipt from PAYPAL listing a payment to OUTSIDEAGENTS. You may only receive an email if you have previous charges listed within paypal’s system that have your email address associated with them. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as PAYPAL *TRAVEL AGENT. 
  • There is a $50 per person cancellation fee per cabin charged by Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante for Individual reservations/cabins in a group regardless of reason for cancellation and regardless of Royal Caribbean International Cancellation policy. This amount is not covered by Travel insurance. (This method is used for cancelling only an individual reservation/cabin in the group)
  • Changes to an existing reservation, whatever the cause, will incur a $50 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as optional tours and transfers. *Please note that name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking. Please note that changes to room/cabin occupancy are subject to full cancellation and rebooking. 
  • If you choose not to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking you understand that you are voluntarily choosing to decline travel insurance and travel protection insurance for your trip.   You understand that you are choosing not to protect yourself from any travel or medical expenses that could occur in the event that a travel or medical emergency occurs. You understand that you are not protected in the event of any travel vendor, travel supplier or any travel related operator default. You understand that you are responsible for any cancellation penalties and out of pocket expenses incurred. You understand that you are liable for all airline fees, supplier fees, and agency fees that may apply, and you hereby release Remarkable Cruises and Vacations by Shante and its travel partners from any and all liability related to the trip described herein. You can choose to add Travel insurance at a later date, but you understand that you are not covered or protected until you purchase travel insurance. Please note that travel insurance may not be added after final payment has been made.

Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge.
