You have finally arrived to the land of fire and ice. With all its diversity and you are in for a treat.

Icelanders are friendly and welcoming, with a very small population, of around 350,000 people. Therefore ‘everyone knows everyone’. Everyone is also related to everyone in a sense. Iceland might look intimidating, thanks to its explosive geography, but it is actually an unusually peaceful and laid back place. Violent crime is famously low.
“Þetta reddast”: It will all work out  It is used in Iceland for anything from daily affairs to larger life events that implies using your time and energy on a productive way of fixing the problem rather than on lamenting. The Zen-like stance, very much reflected in the weather which is unpredictable, reflects the attitude that there is much out of our control anyways.
Icelandic weather produces a lot of waterfalls and rainbows but also brings challenges; storms with extreme winds and rain- or snowfall are frequent, and weather changes can be sudden. Although the climate can be harsh, it is milder than you would expect from the country’s name and global position at high latitudes. A branch of the Gulf current brings warmer seas up to the south and west coast.

Cancellation policy:

Deposit and Payments: I understand all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable (including deposits). The total is dependent on a group travel rate and are subject to change if the participation falls below a number consistent on a group. I further acknowledge that I have been advised to purchase travel insurance to protect my investment. All payments to LH Fun Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable. In an effort to negotiate the best experience and price, our travel partners do not provide refunds.
 
Prices: are subject to change without notice. Please make your reservations today at this price to be locked in.

Roommate: You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments. We will make every effort to notify you if your roommate is no longer complaint with our payment policy.

Monthly payments: Your invoice will clearly note your payment plan and as a courtesy we will provide monthly electronic reminders.

Changes: In Flight, Hotels and Transfers: LH Fun Travel will make every effort to operate all tours as printed in the itinerary, digital brochures, flyers and on the website. However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are deemed to be necessary for any reason.

Airline: IF flights are included in the trip, please note that flight changes are at the discretion of the airline, therefore LH Fun Travel reserves the right to make airline modifications as we see fit to accommodate our clients. Seat assignments ARE at the discretion of airlines. Seats for the group tour are only located in economy class .

Last Minute Reservations: All reservations must be made no later than 60 days prior toot b departure. If requested services canne confirmed, payment will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

Name Changes: Name changes are not permitted, name corrections will carry a fee of $100.00 and this information must be received in writing 40-days prior to departure or as specified by the airline.

Tours: Please note that some tours are included and are subject to change due to weather and or unforeseen circumstances. We will do our best to supply another tour to take the place of the tour that was replaced. Tours do not have a monetary value for a cash or credit refund.

Ground Transfers: Please note that all transfers and excursions will have specific times of departures and will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.

Hotel Amenities: Hotel amenities may change without notice, however our partner hotels aim to exceed your expectations.

Upgrades: Should you require upgraded room accommodations, flights and or tours, please advise and we are happy to assist.

Finally the action starts, heading to the unbeaten paths of the highlands on our way to Europe’s second-largest glacier, Langjökull. The Superjeep or Super truck is an experience by itself, a muscular built up 4×4, modified in Iceland to be able to deal with the tough surroundings in the highlands.

This trip is an excellent trip for all those interested in trying the Icelandic horse, a trek on the hardy, sure-footed Icelandic horse is an experience to remember. Whether you are a beginner or expert, old or young, these friendly horses, with their alert and willing nature are indeed a pleasure to ride in their natural surroundings. We pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavik and drive to the farm located only 15 minutes from Reykjavik. At the farm you will get all basic gear, such as helmets, boots and rain clothes (snowsuits in wintertime). We gather information about how much you have been riding and choose the proper horse to match your experience. 

Ride through wonderful landscape in the outskirts of Reykjavik along well-maintained riding paths, making the trip smooth and enjoyable.  

Duration: Riding is 1,5 – 2 hours depending on season.
Total duration with pickup is ca. 3,5 – 4 hours
