For many of us, this is the first time returning to Israel since October 7, 2023 — a moment that forever changed our hearts and deepened our bond with this land and its people.
This special journey, organized by Sababa Travel in cooperation with Congregation Beth Israel and the JCC of Central New Jersey, is not a typical tour of ancient sites. It is a mission — a journey of solidarity, healing, and renewal. Together, we will meet Israelis who are rebuilding lives and communities, listen to their stories, and share in the hope that continues to light the way forward.
At the same time, we’ll celebrate the vibrancy and beauty of daily life in Israel: walking through colorful shuks, exploring powerful graffiti art that captures the spirit of resilience, tasting incredible food, and feeling the energy that makes this country so unique.
Through every encounter, may we be reminded that being part of Am Yisrael means showing up for one another — across oceans, across generations, and across whatever challenges we face.
May this experience deepen your love for Israel, strengthen your sense of purpose, and inspire you to carry these stories home — stories of courage, compassion, and unwavering hope.

In the event of a trip cancellation due to illness (supported by official medical documentation), the affected traveler must submit a claim directly to their travel insurance provider to request a refund. Your insurance policy should include coverage for medical and related expenses while in Israel, including any mandatory hotel isolation. Har El Travels(supplier)/Sababa Travel will make every effort to work with suppliers to minimize cancellation fees. However, any reimbursement for canceled trip costs will be processed exclusively through the traveler’s insurance policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a war or security situation that results in the cancellation of the trip, Har El Travels/Sababa Travel will work closely with all suppliers to negotiate refunds and will make every effort to secure a full refund for the land portion of the program. This itinerary has been carefully designed to make the best possible use of time while accounting for Jerusalem traffic, the current political climate, and the varying opening hours for Jewish, Christian, and Muslim holidays.
