Waiver of Liability & Release
Participant releases and discharges Alma del Sol Retreats, its owners, agents, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and any other associated individuals or entities (collectively referred to as "Retreat Organizers") from any liability, claims, or causes of action arising from participation in the Retreat. This includes, but is not limited to, any bodily harm, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may occur, regardless of cause, including negligence. Participant acknowledges that the Retreat Organizers do not provide medical, health, or disability insurance coverage and assumes all responsibility for any necessary medical care.

Acknowledgment of Risks
Participant understands and accepts that the activities involved in the Retreat carry inherent risks, which cannot be eliminated. These may include, but are not limited to, risks associated with yoga, outdoor adventures, swimming, equine activities, hiking, transportation, and any other planned events. Participant assumes full responsibility for these risks and voluntarily chooses to participate despite them.

Indemnification & Hold Harmless
Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Retreat Organizers from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities that may arise in connection with participation in the Retreat, including claims alleging negligence.

Medical Treatment & Travel Insurance
Participant understands that medical facilities in Costa Rica may differ from those in their home country. Participant agrees to obtain travel insurance covering emergency medical care, hospitalization, and evacuation. Retreat Organizers are not responsible for medical expenses or emergency transport. In the event of a medical emergency, the Retreat Organizers may provide first aid or seek medical assistance, but Participant releases the Retreat Organizers from any liability related to the provision or lack of medical treatment, including causes of action that arise or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment, or service rendered or not rendered in connection with the Participant’s involvement in a Retreat.

Fitness & Assumption of Risk
Participant certifies that they are physically capable of participating in the Retreat and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional. It is the Participant’s sole responsibility to determine their fitness for participation.

Third-Party Activity Providers
Participant acknowledges that certain activities, including but not limited to horseback riding, hiking, and excursions, may be provided by third-party vendors. Retreat Organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from these activities. Participant agrees that they participate in these activities at their own risk and that any claims related to third-party services must be directed to the respective provider.

Personal Property
Participant assumes full responsibility for their personal belongings during the Retreat and acknowledges that the Retreat Organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

Photography & Media Release
Participant grants permission for the Retreat Organizers to use any photographs, videos, or audio recordings taken during the Retreat for marketing, promotional, or other legitimate purposes without compensation.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Maury County, TN, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maury County, Tennessee. If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If Participant pays in full and cancels 150 or more days prior to the Retreat start date, a 50% refund will be issued.

If cancellation occurs within 149 days of the Retreat, no refund will be provided.

Payment plans are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Participants on a payment plan must select the auto-payment option to ensure timely payment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of participation in the Retreat.

If a balance remains unpaid after the Retreat start date, the Retreat Organizers reserve the right to pursue legal action to recover the outstanding amount.

Retreat purchases are final, non-transferable, and non-creditable toward future retreats.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a Participant’s spot.
