BWT Take on Ghana! This tour is designed just for you!

An 8 day Welcome Home tour of Ghana. Visit Accra, markets, beaches, former slave castles at Cape Coast and Elmina, and Africa's highest rain forest canopy walkway at Kakum National Park. Includes a cultural performance, Door of Return ceremony, and a traditional naming ceremony.

You'll be immersed in culture with the city tours, be amazed by the beauty of waterfalls and the National Parks & Botanical Gardens. This vacation package also includes the following itinerary

8 DAYS 7 NIGHTS

Day 1 – Arrive at Kotoka International Airport in Ghana. We will pick you and whisked off to
your hotel. Upon arrival, we will check-in and relax a bit. After a long flight I'm sure you will be
exhausted. Therefore, you may take the remainder of the day to relax and enjoy the amenities of
the hotel at your leisure and meet up for our Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 – After breakfast we will depart on our Accra City Tour.
Accra City Tours includes: Art Centre, kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Ghana National
Museum, Independence Arch, WEB DuBois, overview of Makola Market.

For the party crew - VIP section at the club - 12 am to 4am - Not for the weak at heart!

Day 3 – After breakfast we depart for cape coast (3hrs). We will stop at Assin manso slave river
(where our ancestors took their last bath before taking to the slave dungeons). Also, we will have
a private tour of the slave dungeons. This is an emotional experience. Afterwards we will have
lunch at the seaside restaurant next door as we reflect and share our thoughts. You will have time
to relax and enjoy dinner at your leisure. (Overnight)
Cape Coast Tour will include: Assin Manso Slave River, Cape Coast Slave Castle

Day 4 – After breakfast we will visit Kakum National Park for Canopy walk, then we will drive
back to Accra

Day 5- After breakfast, we will have a naming ceremony which each person will get their
African names written on a kente strip for them. Optional Spa Brunch with Brothers at your service.

Day 6 – After breakfast we will leave to the Volta region (Wli waterfalls) (4 hours) Overnight

Day 7 – After breakfast we will depart for Accra. Day of rest or last minute shopping. Tonight Farewell Dinner in African attire.

Day 8 – Relax at the hotel and enjoy hotel amenities until its time for departure then we head to the airport and say farewell to Ghana

Please book your own airfare to Kotoka International Airport (ACC) for arrival in Accra Ghana on August 2th. This may require departing your home state on the the 9th. Schedule Accordingly.

Valid Passports ARE Needed to attend with an expiration date no sooner than Feb 10, 2026

This vaccine is required

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included and highly recommended for good service. (Average $250 per trip) Tour guide $100 required. Will be collected.

Cancellation policy:

 ***Initial Deposits and subsequent payments are Non-Refundable*** Payments May Possibly be transferred to a newly booked guest on a case by case basis for a transfer fee of $100.00. There is also a $75 cancellation fee once the transfer is complete.  If there isn't a new guest to take your space, no funds can be refunded as we will still be contractually responsible for paying all fees to the hotel and vendors.  BWT will seek legal action because we are held accountable for your canceled room or disputed charges.
