Itinerary

 
Day 1 - Athens
Arrival: Welcome to Greece!
Upon arrival at Athens airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant who will escort you to your private transfer to the hotel,
Amelia Hotel (2 nights), check-in when available, and relax for the evening
 
 
 
 
Day 2 - Athens
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city with a panoramic city tour. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). At the Acropolis, you will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts the order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Continue and visit a must-see in Athens, the place where finally the statues found their home, and admire the wonders of the classical era: The New Acropolis Museum, voted by the Sunday Times as the 3rd best museum in the world. Day 3 - Athens to Mykonos
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. An English-speaking assistant will meet you at the hotel to escort you by private transfer to the port. Board the high-speed ferry to the Greek island of Mykonos. Famous for its minimal Cycladic architecture, Mykonos is full of traditional whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches. The island's trademark is the beautiful traditional windmills in front of Little Venice, where one can enjoy the magical sunset and capture the colorful light washing up the Chora. Pure bliss!  Breakfast included.

Day 4 - Mykonos
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, head out on a half-day city and island tour. Discover the highlights of Mykonos on a comfortable city walk to unique sites like Little Venice and the windmill area, Paraportiani church, and the harbor front. Afterward, the bus tour begins that takes you all over the island to the beautiful bays and beaches like Agios Ioannis, Plati Yalos, San Stefanos, and Kalafatis as well as to the traditional village of Ano Mera with its picturesque village square and 16th-century monastery. Before the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste 3 different types of Mykonian organic wines at a beautiful vineyard. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast and Tastings included.
 
 
 
Day 5 -  Delos
 Breakfast at the hotel. Depart on a half-day tour of the neighboring island of Delos. Only a 45-minute boat ride away from Mykonos – Delos was the center of the Cyclades of the ancient world, the island of light, the birthplace of Apollon and Artemis, and home to the first multicultural civilization and trade. There is a lot to see: having been inhabited between 2500 and 69 B.C. Delos boasts of many treasures remaining from these times like the ancient marketplace Agora, the famous terrace of the Naxos lions, the holy lake, the ancient living quarters and theatre that give you a lively vision of the daily life then; especially the houses of Dionysos, Kleopatra, the Trident, the Masks, the Dolphins with their mosaics are a fantastic experience of art not to be missed. Furthermore, there is the Temple of Isis, the Egyptian goddess, the Roman water system and cisterns, and the wonderful museum with plenty of breathtaking mosaics, statues, and many more objects found during the excavations. On our guided tour you depart at 10 am from the old pier in Mykonos Town and you return at 2.30 pm. If you wish to remain a little bit longer you can also take the last boat back at 3 pm to have some time at leisure or maybe climb on Mount Kynthos to enjoy the view over all the surrounding Cycladic islands. Breakfast included.
 
 
 
Day 6 - Mykonos to Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Your private transfer and English-speaking assistant will meet you at the hotel for your private transfer to the port. Travel by high-speed ferry to your next destination – the island of Santorini. Once you set foot on the island, you will feel like stepping into a heavenly world where all the shades of red create unreal sunsets. The caldera offers the most dramatic sea views you have ever seen, while the enormous cliffs are dotted with lovely Cycladic whitewashed houses. Nothing can prepare you for the beauty you will encounter on that enchanting island! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel,
Santorini Palace (3 nights), check-in when available, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast included.
 
 
 
Day 7 - Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, climb aboard a catamaran sunset tour You will swim in the crystal-clear waters of its most iconic beaches, such as Red Beach and White Beach, and in the therapeutic waters of the volcano’s hot springs as well. You will also enjoy delicious food on board as well as terrific views of the caldera cliffs and the volcanic islands that make everyone gasp. Finally, you will relish the most spectacular sunset in the world below the beautiful village of Oia before returning to shore. Breakfast and Dinner included.
 
 
 
 
Day 8 - Santorini to Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Travel by private transfer from your hotel to the port, guided by an English-speaking assistant. A high-speed ferry will take you back to the mainland. Amalia Hotel (1 night).  Enjoy one more night in the ancient city of Athens before you head home tomorrow. Breakfast included.
 
 
Day 9 - Depart Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. At the pre-arranged time, your English-speaking assistant and private transfer will escort you to Athens Airport for your departure. Breakfast included.
