On this trip, we’ll even be spending two nights in an 18th century castle! The Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate is one of the most beautiful and elegant 5 star hotels in Ireland! If you are a golfer you’ll have the opportunity to golf there! We’ll also enjoy a 4 course gourmet dinner at this breathtaking resort!

• Day 4 (Saturday, April 26):

  • Transfer to Killarney
    
  • Admission to Blarney Castle
    
  • Admission to Blarney Woolen Mills with free time for shopping
  • Optional Jaunting Car Carriage Ride from Killarney Brewery through Killarney
  • Free time in Killarney
  • Dinner on own
  • Check into your hotel in Killarney
  • Optional Activity: Celtic Steps Show in Killarney

 

• Day 5 (Sunday, April 27):
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Ring of Kerry Driving Tour - one of Ireland's most popular drives along the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula. 
  • Dinner on Own

 

• Day 6 (Monday, April 28):
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Depart to Galway
  • Free time in Dingle Town for shopping and to explore
  • Ferry transfer and admission to Cliffs of Moher
  • Check into your beautiful Castle Hotel - Glenlo Abbey
  • Dinner at Glenlo Abbey restaurant

 

• Day 7 (Tuesday, April 29)
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Free day in Galway - chance to do one of the planned optional activities or explore around Glenlo Abbey
  • Optional Activity: Cooking Class - Irish Scones and Homemade Bread
  • Optional Activity: An option for golf can be done on this day as well.

 

• Day 8 (Wednesday, April 30)
  • Breakfast at hotel
    
  • Depart to Dublin
  • Stop in Athlone at Sean's Bar (the oldest bar in Ireland) and enjoy an Irish sandwich and drink
  • Check into Dublin hotel
  • Farewell dinner with drinks at a local pub

 

• Day 9 (Thursday, May 1)
  • Transfer to Dublin airport to fly home

• Luggage allowance on ground transportation is based on one standard sized suitcase and one small carry-on per personal. Additional luggage must be arranged in advance, fees may apply

• We can book your transfers from Munich airport to the hotel, but they will be an extra cost. You have the choice for us to book your transfers or take an Uber or Taxi.

• Flights
  • Flights can be purchased directly with the airline. I will send out information on the flights Amy and Hoyt will be on, and you can call the airline directly to book the same flight.
• Transfers: Transfers are included to and from the airport if you are on the same flights as Amy as there is one included group transfer. Information about flights will come later.
• Travel Insurance - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will have the option to purchase when signing up for the trip.
  
• Meals, unless listed in your itinerary
• Tips for drivers, guides and other services (A tipping guide will be included in your itinerary)
• Supplements or optional tours as listed
• Visa, passport, and entry/exit fees

Cancellation of travel must be made in writing and is effective from the date we receive the written notification. Any trip deposit or payment is non-refundable.  Rose Travel and The Cooking Mom's Culinary Vacations incur costs with the suppliers of your trip well in advance of your departure date. At the effective date of cancellation all overdue payments will be required, any additional payments will not be required.  We highly recommend trip insurance and is available for purchase at booking.
