Why should you attend?

• Grad Bash is the ultimate graduation celebration for high school seniors. Encompassing BOTH Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, it features the largest "footprint" of any Orlando graduation event. With cutting-edge rides and attractions, the hottest street entertainment, and more, it's a party only Universal can throw!
• Cedar Shoals High School is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Universal Studios for the Grad Bash.

Who is eligible to attend?

• Only approved Cedar Shoals HS seniors in the class of 2025 and the chaperones are allowed to attend. Cedar Shoals HS will validate students who are approved to register and attend.
• A student may be denied to attend the field trip at the principal's discretion. If a student is removed from the travel list, there will not be a refund.

How much does it cost and what is included in the price?

• The cost for this year's trip is $406.00 if booked by February 7, 2025.
• Trip bookings made after February 7th will be $456 and payment is for the full price.  Final trip booking deadline will be February 28, 2025.
• The cost will include:
  • The charter bus trip from Cedar Shoals HS (Athens, GA) to Universal Orlando (Orlando, FL on-property resort-Stella Nova, theme parks) and back to CSHS.
  • Your ticket to Grad Bash and the early entry to the Theme Park Mixer/Party
  • One (1) Universal Dining Voucher for Breakfast, valued at $15.25 plus taxes.
  • Two-night stay on Universal's Stella Nova Resort (brand new resort hotel) - based on quad room/4 people per room pricing
  • Roundtrip charter bus transportation from CSHS-Orlando-CSHS
  • Gratuities for charter bus driver
  • Travel Service fee and itinerary management charges with Universal Studios
  • Chaperone fees

Can I book a single room (no roommate)?  Yes, there is an add-on pricing option if you want a solo room. Select the option on the booking page to add the cost to your base student rate. 

Can I book for a designated roommate and myself (double occupancy only)?  Yes, there is an add-on pricing option if you request a designated roommate for a double occupancy room. There is a ROOMMATE REQUEST FORM that will need to be completed. Contact Classic City Travel to have this form emailed to you at classiccitytravel@gmail.com. Once you are approved by the school administration for a designated roommate match, you may go back to the booking page and add this option to your base rate. BOTH roommates will need prior approval and MUST agree to add the add-on to their trip invoices.

When is payment due?

• After February 7, 2025, the price of the trip booking is $456 and is payable in FULL at the time of booking.
• You can pay the entire amount of $406 to fully reserve your senior trip by February 7, 2025.
• The full payment must be received by Classic City Travel by February 7, 2025, to be fully reserved.
• Classic City Travel ONLY accepts credit cards or debit cards for travel payment. We do NOT accept checks, cash, counter checks, or electronic transfers (e.g. Cash
  App, Zelle, etc).
• The Travel permission slip, insurance waiver, and liability waivers MUST be signed by the parent/guardian of students participating in the senior trip to be considered as Travel Ready. All forms are due at the time payment/deposit is made. Failure to submit a signed permission slip or travel liability waiver will void participation on the senior trip.

How can I pay?

• Payments may be made by credit or debit card.
• No checks or electronic fund transfers are allowed.
• No annual passes are permitted for this event.

What are the timelines for the travel days of the Grad Bash trip?

• 06:30 am – Seniors/Chaperones report to the auditorium at CSHS on Friday, April 4, 2025, to depart (one backpack and/or one carry-on size luggage permitted)
• 07:00 am – Bus leaves CSHS for Universal Orlando.
• 12:00 pm - Lunch stop at Valdosta, GA (approximately 60 minutes)
• 4:00 p.m. – Arrive at Universal Orlando- Stella Nova Resort
• 3:00 p.m. – Seniors/Chaperones report to the departure area at Stella Nova to go to the park on Saturday, April 5, 2025 for GRAD BASH.
• 2:30 a.m. – Bus leaves Universal Orlando for return to the hotel.
• 1:00 p.m. – Seniors/Chaperones meet at the departure area to leave the hotel for return to Athens, GA on Sunday, April 6, 2025
• 4:00 p.m. - Lunch stop at Valdosta, GA (approximately 60 minutes)
• 10:30 p.m. - Arrive at CSHS for trip end

What kind of security will be present?

• All bags, pockets, and other items are checked for any illegal substances and weapons.  All questionable items will be confiscated at the gate.
• Security is visibly present throughout the park during the event. 
• When entering Grad Bash, both seniors and chaperones will go through a security check that includes passing through a metal detector.
• Security will also be screening seniors and chaperones for the following prohibited items: alcohol, illegal drugs, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, tobacco items, weapons, chains, spiked collars, spiked belts, and any accessories that may be used as a weapon. 
• All unauthorized items will be confiscated by security.
• All school rules and consequences apply to all actions during this school event.

Are there restrictions on prescription medicine?

• Any medicine, including prescription medicine, must be on file with the clinic along with a doctor’s authorization at least 4 weeks before the event. This information should be submitted to Cedar Shoals HS senior advisor for approval.

Arrival

• Seniors will be assigned solid-color wristbands upon entering the Grad Bash. Seniors should take a picture of their ticket/s on their cell phone in case they lose their ticket. Classic City Travel nor Chaperones will be responsible for replacing lost/mislaid wristbands or tickets.

Is there a dress code?

• Yes.  Universal Orlando Resort’s Security team strictly enforces all dress code regulations for Grad Bash.
• Students will be subject to inspection by CSHS personnel before boarding the bus. 
• Students who do not follow this dress code will not be permitted on the bus and will not receive a refund for the event.
• DRESS CODE - WHAT IS NOT PERMITTED
  • School Logos or Names or Area codes should NOT be displayed on clothing (only Chaperones may wear school logo attire)
  • Clothing with obscene, offensive language or graphics
  • Jerseys of any kind
  • Large Bags, backpacks, or purses larger than 8.5” by 5.5”
  • Clothing that exposes excessive portions of skin that may be viewed as inappropriate (bikini tops, bikini bottoms, midriff shirts, crop tops, extreme low-cut tops, spaghetti straps)
  • Sleeveless shirts (all shirt sleeves must be at least 3” in length)
  • Clothing with excessive holes or shredding
  • Clothing that is too tight or revealing
  • Visible undergarments
  • Tank tops, undershirts, sleeveless tops
  • Pants falling below the waist
  • Tops that show midriff or cleavage
  • Accessories such as spiked collars, studded/spiked belts, chains hanging from the neck, belt, or pocket or attached to a wallet, or including sharp objects.
  • Nylon basketball shorts
  • Spandex body suits
  • Sheer/see-through clothing or leggings
  • Short shorts (must be at least mid-thigh)
  • Water shoes or Flip Flops
