Experience one of America’s most beloved sporting events: the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, Louisville for Black Derby Day also knows as "THURBY"!  The Kentucky Derby is a grade 1 stakes race and is one and a quarter miles long. The race has been given multiple nicknames like “The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports” or “The Run for the Roses” as the winner is draped with a blanket of roses. The Kentucky Derby is also the first leg of the Triple Crown and is followed by the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.

FRIDAY. MAY 2, 2025 - BOURBON TASTING 

Louisville, Kentucky is a city that’s famously known for bourbon. Sure, it’s technically Kentucky that invented bourbon, but Louisville has embraced it, built upon it, and created a drinking scene honoring it.  you’ll also find distilleries in Louisville crafting rye whiskey, brandy, absinthe, Scotch, liqueurs, and more. Are you thirsty yet??  The Barrel Crawl tour offers private transportation to 3 distilleries. You will enjoy a  standard cocktail or tasting at each location. Additionally, your will be able to check out the grounds and gift shop, where you can purchase bottles, you may not be able to find closer to home. If there’s extra time, our drivers will even stop off at other places in the region.

SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2025 - DERBY DAY PARTY WITH BETTING OPTIONS

Featuring an incredible brunch spread and Top Shelf bar.  Start the Derby Day right with expert betting tips and tricks from local racing analyst. Gain valuable insights for the while enjoying live music from local band and an amazing DJ.  Sip on signature cocktails as you soak in the excitement of the races, with live coverage shown on several big screens. 

SUNDAY, MAY 4, 2025 - FARWELL DERBY BRUNCH

Set against the backdrop of our majestic front lawn, festivities kick off at 10am with a sumptuous breakfast brunch.  Indulge in mouthwatering delights while serenaded by the soulful melodies of Live R&B music.
