Hotel & Air ALSO INCLUDED!
The travel dates for this vacation are Thursday, July 25, 2024 – Monday, August 5, 2024. The cruise dates are Sunday, July 28, 2024 – Sunday, August 4, 2024. With the travel time and flight schedules, and because, we're visiting Rome, this package includes two pre-cruise nights in Rome, and one post-cruise night at Rome’s airport. Because of our arrival time back to Rome’s cruise port, there isn’t enough time to assure safe transition to the airport for the only direct flight of the day on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Therefore, an additional night’s stay is being included in this package for PEACE of mind (yes, PEACE, not PIECE 😊) Also, because we are coming off of a 7-day sailing, it’s best to allow our bodies to reset before boarding a transatlantic flight. This package is only offered to those already deposited for the cruise.
Pre-Cruise Stay
When we arrive in Rome on the morning of Friday, July 26, 2024, we will be transported to Hotel Romanico Palace Luxury Hotel & Spa, located in walking proximity to all of the central Rome attractions. The included room option is the Deluxe Room option. Breakfast is also included! We will check out on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in the morning and transported to the ship.
Post-Cruise Stay
When we return to the cruise port on the morning of Sunday, August 4, 2024, we will be transported to the Hilton Rome Airport. The included room option is the King Guest Room. Breakfast is also included! The hotel is directly connected to the airport, so no transportation is needed. We will check out on Monday, August 5, 2024. Early check-in has been requested.
Local Tax Not Included
While most hotel taxes are included in the price, there is a separate City Tax that is paid directly to each hotel at check-in. As of October 1, 2023, the City Tax is €7.50 Euros. The exchange to US Dollars is based on the bank rates on that day.
Transportation
Transportation to all locations is included IF the full packaged option is selected... This includes to/from the airport and to/from the cruise port.
Air Details
We are flying on Delta Airlines with DIRECT FLIGHTS into Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) departing on Thursday, July 25, 2024 and returning on Monday, August 5, 2024, in Main Cabin. If you would like to obtain pricing for Comfort+, Premium Economy or Delta One, after placing your deposit, send an email to upgrade. Any additional deposits will be confirmed at that time.
Pricing and Payment Details
The per person price based on double occupancy is $6,000.00 per person. The per person pricing of this package for single occupancy is $7,700.00 per person. The deposit to secure this option is $500.00 per person. You will be able to make monthly payments with the final payment due April 20, 2024.
Monthly Payment/Abandonment of Reservation
After you make your first deposit, you are required to make monthly payments, or your booking may be cancelled for abandonment of reservation. This event is designed to allow for flexible monthly payments. Monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month. If you find yourself in a difficult financial situation and cannot make monthly payments, please email us immediately. If two months have passed without payment or communication, an initial notice of cancellation will be sent. If no communication or payment is made after the initial notice, the reservation will be cancelled. All previous payments will be forfeited and the cancellation policy in effect at that time will be applied. This may cause financial impact to remaining roommates. Final payment is due April 20, 2024. If you fail to make your final payment by the due date, your reservation will automatically cancel with penalties.
Once the deposit is paid, you will receive a separate invoice for monthly payments.
As this package includes air, no name changes will be allowed. Any changes to passengers will require the package to be rebooked.

Cruise Only Option
If you would rather secure your own flights, and not participate in the air/hotel package, you must provide your flight details no later than 21 days prior to departure. Travel documents will not be released until this information is received and validated.
Travel Insurance
Now that we have a full package that is inclusive of air, the TravelSafe Basic plan allows you to protect your travel investment. Full details of coverage can be found here.

Travel insurance can be split into two payments; however, coverage will not begin until the full amount of the premium has been paid and processed. The effective date will be the next business day after the full payment amount has been processed. Read full the full description of coverage HERE. AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR VACATION DEPOSIT, use the same form to add on travel insurance. Otherwise, it will show up on your confirmation as declined.
