Cancel My Trip
Your plans have changed.
Whether it's an unexpected circumstance or you changed your mind, you have requested I start the cancellation process for your trip OR make changes to your existing booking.
Please know that working through a trip cancellation or any changes requires immediate attention and can take extra time and several follow up calls and/or emails to push the urgency through with all booking suppliers involved.
Cancellation as described:
- Canceling the entire trip
- Canceling a person from your itinerary
Itinerary Change as described:
- Requesting a date change
- Completing a name change where allowed
- Cancelling a segment of your trip
- Changing or cancelling a tour
By completing the request and payment the following statement is understood:
I understand that the pricing or rates locked in by my deposit/payments will also be lost and cannot be retrieved if I change my mind.
For Cancellations: I agree to pay $75 Cancellation Processing fee to Agency +plus any supplier cancellation fees according to the terms & conditions of my original booking.
I understand that any refunds or credits will come directly from the supplier of travel (resort, airline, cruise line, etc.) or travel insurance company and not from 1 Life Travel, LLC or Celia Smith.
Fees were discussed and included in the Agency Terms & Conditions prior to booking your trip with deposit.

This fee compensates our agents for the time to work through the cancellation process. No upfront or separate booking fee was accepted for planning, booking and managing your vacation up to this point and since our agents are only compensated by commission upon your return from the trip, this means they will never be paid for work they already did. And in good faith we can all agree that nobody should work for free.

This fee compensates our agents for the time it will take to work through your unexpected request. Working to modify an itinerary that was already locked in with with deposit or payment can be harder and take longer as most suppliers want to reprice components at today's rates. Your agent will work diligently to make the changes you requested at the most minimal cost to you possible.
Change Fee 2nd + request

This fee compensates our agents for the time it will take to work through your unexpected request. Working to modify your itinerary in real time will require they put everything else going on in there life (work and personal) on hold.
Your agent will work diligently to make the changes you requested at the most minimal cost and quickest time possible. Resolution cannot always be guaranteed for this type of request.
