TERMS & CONDITIONS

Retreat Name: Serenity Retreat
Location: Vajra Jahra, Costa Rica

By registering for the Serenity Retreat, you (the Participant) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before completing your registration.

1. Scope and Inclusions:

Transportation to/from retreat center/SJO airport

Accommodations (single/double villas) for the retreat duration
Three vegan meals per day plus coffee/tea
Daily workshops, group sessions, and experiential activities
Two cultural excursions (catamaran tour and waterfall hike)
Access to retreat facilities (pool, trails, common spaces)

Not Included:

Your round-trip airfare from home
Any transportation by uber/taxi to and from the venues outside the itinerary
Airport transfer at non-designated pick-up & drop off times
Other non-included items would include souvenir shopping, personal phone calls, spa services, taxis, rental cars and laundry
Your meals when out on excursions
Your resort/hotel meals if you stay back from the scheduled adventures
Alcohol, room service & incidentals
Personal, medical and trip cancellation insurance

2. Payment Terms:

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at booking
Remaining balance must be paid by due dates set at registration
Failure to pay balance on time may result in forfeiture of your spot

3. Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation between October 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025: 50% refund (minus deposit)
Cancellation after January 1, 2026: No refund (100% forfeiture)
If the retreat is canceled by organizers, participants receive a full refund (excluding airfare or external costs)
Travel insurance (i.e. Trip Cancellation Insurance & Travel Medical Insurance including emergency evacuation) is required

4. Amendments:

Organizers reserve the right to amend activities, schedules, or facilitators if necessary without prior notice

5. Acceptance of Terms:
By completing payment, I confirm I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms of this Terms and Conditions.

RESPONSIBILITY/LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

As a participant of the Serenity Retreat, I understand and agree to the following responsibilities:

Participant Responsibilities:

Arrive on time and ready for all scheduled sessions and activities
Follow retreat guidelines, instructions, and local laws
Respect the retreat environment, facilitators, staff, and fellow participants
Take full responsibility for personal belongings and valuables
Inform organizers promptly of any discomfort, medical issues, or concerns

Organizer Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, supportive, and respectful retreat environment
Deliver the retreat program as advertised, subject to necessary adjustments
Offer reasonable assistance in case of participant illness, injury, or emergency (but not provide medical care)

Limitation of Liability:
The retreat organizers are not liable for:

Travel disruptions, delays, or cancellations
Loss, theft, or damage of personal property
Personal injury, illness, or accidents outside the organizers' direct control
Any costs incurred due to participant misconduct, noncompliance, or failure to follow rules

By completing payment, I confirm I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms of this Responsibility/Limitation of Liabiility Agreement.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Serenity Retreat and understand the following:

I am responsible for my own health, safety, and well-being throughout the retreat
Activities may include physical, emotional, or mental challenges that carry inherent risks
I release the retreat organizers, facilitators, and hosts from any liability related to injury, illness, loss, or damages arising from my participation, including negligence
I understand that group travel carries risks, including travel delays, political instability, health hazards, or natural disasters, and I assume all such risks willingly
I confirm that I have disclosed relevant health information and that I am fit to participate in retreat activities

By completing payment, I confirm I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms of this Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk.
