Itinerary:

TUES, Oct 22nd: Depart the U.S.

Our international journey begins with our individual international flights to Dubai.

Day 1- WED, Oct 23rd: Arrival in Dubai

 

We arrive into Dubai today. We’ll be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel, JW Marriott Marquis, with guide

assistance. After checking in to our rooms, we can refresh ourselves before our “Welcome to Dubai” dinner (with water).

 

After dinner, you may choose to work out the kinks at the fitness center, or just hang out on your balcony overlooking

the activity of the Dubai Marina.

Day 2- THURS, Oct 24th: Shopping Dubai Tour

0930-1630hrs 

 

Dubai is a juxtaposition of the uber-modern and the ultra traditional. Today, we’ll start by experiencing Dubai

with a panoramic tour in of the city. We will take a water taxi, "Abra," to visit Spice and Gold Souks, with free time

for shopping.  After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the largest frame in the world: the Dubai Frame. This

frame gives views of the "Old" and "New" Dubai, giving the metaphorical bridge to the city's "past" and "present."

Day 3- FRI, Oct 25th: Dubai Tour, Burj Khalifa and Dinner

1000-2000hrs

Today, we will tour Dubai by starting at the city, Dubai Marina, aka Marsa Dubai. Dubai Marina is an artificial

canal city built along the Persian Golf shoreline. We'll go onto visit Burj al Arab and Souk Madinat Jumeirah. 

Burj al Arab is one of the tallest hotels in the world, sitting on an artificial island.

 

We'll visit Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a popular marketplace, lined with bars and bistros.  Before heading to Burj Khalifa,

we will visit the Mall of the Emirates. It is home to the ski slope, Ski Dubai, a cinema complex, 560 shops and

pop-up concepts; a visit to Mall of the Emirates is a must on any trip to Dubai. 

 

After fun at the Mall of the Emirates, we'll head to the world's largest structure: Burj Khalifa. Standing at an astonishing

almost-a-half-a-mile high in height, this skyscraper is an unbelievable sight. We'll end our day with dinner at an Arabic

restaurant, Abd Al Wahab, near the iconic, choreographed Dubai Fountains.

Day 4 SAT, Oct 26th: Dubai

Let's begin today's journeys with a fun, delicious brunch at Saffron Restuarant, located on the Jumeirah Palm Island.  

With the hottest DJs, live performances and a high-energy vibe, Saffron is Dubai's ultimate party brunch. Get your

friends together for a fabulous afternoon of non-stop food, drinks and chart-topping hits.  After the energetic brunch,

we'll jump on the Palm Monorail to view Palm Island from above street level.

Day 5- SUN, Oct 27th: Afternoon Desert Safari

Morning:

This morning you’ll be free to enjoy breakfast at the hotel and relax at the pool or nearby beach

and boardwalk; do as you wish until 2pm. 

 

Afternoon:

We’ll head into the heart of the desert this afternoon, bumping off road over on a private 4x4 Safari Tour.

We'll enjoy a BBQ dinner, served at your table, with non-alcoholic drinks, where we'll enjoy a Belly and Tanura

dance show, experience  some Henna tattoos, maybe try a Shisa pipe, and take a short camel ride.

Day 6- MON, Oct 28th: Free Day

Now that you are becoming familiar with Dubai, we’ll allow leisure time to re-visit your favorite shopping spot,

tour museums and galleries we may have missed, enjoy a nearby beach, or just lounge by the hotel pool.

 

 

Day 7- TUES, Oct 29th: Abu Dhabi Tour Day

 0800-1900hrs

 

Abu Dhabi is known as the “Arabian Jewel”. We will visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, to explore the

history of Islamic arts and architecture; it is one of the world's largest mosques. We'll then venture on to Emirates Palace,

to enjoy an infamous Golden Cappuccino. After refueling, we are onward to visit the Qasr al Watan Presidential Palace.

The Qasr was built as a Presidential Palace and to showcase Emirati culture, history and architecture.

Day 8- WED, Oct 30th: Yacht Cruise, Miracle Garden, Global Village

1030-2100hrs 

    

After breakfast, we'll take a two-hour cruise on a shared Yacht. Enjoy the amazing views of Dubai, from the sea,

while enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch. We'll then head to see more beauty, with a visit to the Miracle Garden: the

world's largest natural flower garden. After visiting the Miracle Garden, we'll get emerged into over 90 cultures

with a visit to Global Village. The spectacular night lights, dining and shopping of this village will not disappoint.

Day 9- THURS, Oct 31st: Free Day

Enjoy another day to yourself, to continue to explore all that Dubai has to offer.

Day 10: FRI, Nov 1st: Departure back to US 

 

Today, we pack our bags and start our journey home. We'll transfer from our hotel, to the Dubai International Airport,

to take (booked on your own) flights home to the U.S., with fond memories of these desert destinations.
